Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 2 Result (Out), Institute Reporting, Registration & Choice Filling (Over), Dates, Process

Candidates can vye for 270 government seats and 53 private MBBS seats via Haryana NEET PG/MDS admissions. The number of seats mentioned here is based on last year's seat matrix. It will be updated in case there is a change in the number of seats. 

Haryana NEET PG/MDS counselling is being conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Haryana. The counselling process for Haryana NEET PG programmes is conducted in online mode. Any candidate who has qualified for NEET PG or NEET MDS exam, and fulfill other eligibility criteria stated by DMER Haryana, will be eligible to participate in the Haryana NEET PG counselling. 

All postgraduate medical courses, including super-speciality courses are offered through the Haryana NEET PG counselling. The list of courses are given below:

• Master of Surgery (MS)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Master of Dental Surgery
• Diplomate in National Board (DNB)
• Diploma in Medicine 

The official website of Haryana NEET PG counselling is uhsrugcounselling.com. Pt. BD Sharma University Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak is the conducting body for the Haryana NEET PG counselling on behalf of the Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana. Candidates will have the visit the given website and click on the link indicating MD/MS/MDS/DNB/Diploma course counselling to check the notifications and participate in the Haryana NEET PG counselling process. 

Yes, candidates from states other than Haryana can participate in the Haryana NEET PG counselling process. Such candidates will have to apply for the Haryana NEET PG counselling through the management quota or NRI quota. In order to be eligible, they must have qualified for the NEET PG or NEET MDS exam, and meet other eligibility criteria set by the DMER Haryana.

DMER Haryana started the registration process on November 18, 2024, and the deadline for registration and choice filling was November 24, 2024, 11.59 PM. The Round 1 concluded on December 9, 2024. DMER Haryana is conducting the Haryana NEET PG counselling 2024 Round 2 registration from December 18 to December 21, 2024. The last date of Haryana NEET PG counselling registration is generally three to four days of the commencement of the registration process. 

The total duration of the Haryana NEET PG counselling 2024 is likely to range for three to four months. It is estimated that there will be around three rounds of counselling for Haryana NEET PG counselling 2024. The duration of each round will be approximately 15 to 20 days, starting from registration to institute reporting. The total duration or rounds of Haryana NEET PG counselling process will depend on the seat vacancies.

The Haryana NEET PG/MDS counselling will begin on October 18, 2024 with the registration process.  DMER Haryana or the counselling conducting body is likely to conduct three rounds of Haryana NEET PG counselling 2024. The number may increase based on the seat vacancy. The counselling process will be completely online wherein eligible candidates will have to register, fill choices and check the seat allotment result in online mode. Only the last step, or the document verification or institute reporting process will have to be done by being physically present at the institute.  

Yes, it is possible to participate in borth the Haryana NEET PG counselling as well as the national-level NEET PG counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). However, in case a candidate is allotted a seat in either of the counsellings and he/she accepts the seat by institute reporting and document verification, then that candidate will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of counselling or the other counselling type. Hence, candidates must carefully assess the admission options and then take the final decision. 

Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the Haryana NEET PG counselling process, it is mandatory to qualify for the NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams. Apart from that, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria stated by the counselling authorities of Haryana NEET PG, in terms of the internship cutoff date, state domicile, etc.

Candidates who are allotted seats in the Haryana NEET PG counselling, will have to present the following documents during the institute reporting or the document verification process.

Haryana NEET PG/MDS counselling will be conducted in online mode through the counselling portal at the official website, dmer.haryana.gov.in. However, the last round of the counselling, which is the institute reporting or document verification process, is conducted offline. Here, candidates who will be allotted seats will have to visit the instittute for the document verification and completing the admission formalities. Apart from the last round, all other processes of Haryana NEET PG are conducted online. 

Haryana PG Medical Application Form fee is INR 3,000 for General category candidates and INR 750 for unreserved category candidates. This fee amount is based on last year's Haryana NEET PG counselling. In case the registration fee is changed, the amount will be updated here. The application fee has to be paid in online mode, through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking modes. 

Eligible candidates willing to participate in the Haryana NEET PG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfills the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats. The factors which are considered for the seat allotment are cutoff and availability of seats. In case a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he or she can opt for seat upgradation. 

There will be approximately three rounds of Haryana NEET PG counselling. The number of rounds of the counselling will depend on the course-wise seat vacancies after each round. At times, DMER Haryana may conduct separate course-wise Haryana NEET PG counselling in case there is vacancy in one or more courses.  

In general, the institute reporting process is conducted for three to four days for each round of Haryana NEET PG counselling. Candidates will have to check the important dates carefully and report to the institutes within the deadline. In certain cases, the last date of reporting to institutes is extended. There may be a possibility that DMER Haryana will conduct institute reporting separately for courses or candidate categories.
