Placements: The placement scenario of the college is not good at all. When I was doing my graduation from the college, only one company came for the campus placements. Thus, if the purpose of you studying here is for campus placements, then I'm afraid, this is not the place for you.

Placements: UIET is very well-known platform and has created a very good reputation because of being the favourite and top choice among students who wish to opt for a career in electronics and communication mainly because of its placement. The college has a placement cell which helps each candidate to prepare for the interviews by making them go through mock tests in their 3rd year and with extra events too. Placements: The placements are not good enough, but they are of a decent level considering the packages and the returns on the investment. Expect them to increase in the coming years in the future and also hoping for more finance-related companies and opportunities. For this purpose, the placement cell needs to be active and take the initiative quickly and adequately.

Placements: The college lacks in terms of placements. As an institution is judged by its placements, the college should make the best possible efforts towards this. SGGS somewhats lacks behind in this department. They should call more companies for placements. Also, they should talk with their students regarding this. They can encourage students to help the management.

Placements: The department of UIAMS, PU is an above average labelled institution where the packages vary from 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA. The average package is about 5 LPA. Almost all companies of the various current domains visit the campus every year and provide with specialised positions as per the student division.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed from our college. Campus recruitments are conducted rarely, and students mostly join the college just to get a degree, so the attitude of fellow students towards studies is not serious. But the pedagogy is great. Teachers are highly knowledgeable and helpful. A placement cell is not available in the college. Rarely 3-4 companies visit our college for campus recruitment.

Placements: There are no placements for this course. There are no internships for this course as well. This course is for one year only, and the university syllabus followed also includes a project work which is to be done at the end under the guidance of the professors assigned.

Placements: The college provides no placements. Most of the courses available here are educational courses and not professional. The last placement drive organised was 4-5 years back, and that too was by the student's council to fulfil their election propaganda. Placements: The placements are almost nil. The college does not prepare us for the placements. We are usually supposed to pursue higher studies. Only 5% of the senior batch got placed in the university placements with an average package of 4-5 lakhs per annum. It can be considered nil as compared to the placements of engineering and management departments.

Placements: Biotech core companies are less compared to ECE, IT and CSE. However, when compared to EEE and mechanical, top notch staff makes it better for biotech. Even IT based companies, as well as consultancies like Delloite or ZS, are also available for biotech students. In the last batch, about 25 percent students got placed, but that number is more applicable to the individual students than the college. The internship scenario is quite less than placements. Placements: No placements at all, specifically for B.A. students. Annually, there is a fest that is held and companies visit the college like:- ICICI Bank, home tuitions-related companies and much more. But only a few students get the offer as the college doesn't have training and placement programme. therefore, the average package of students who got placed is 3 lacs.

Placements: Zero placements. Not a single initiative is taken by the college authorities to invite the companies to campus for placement purposes. Because of this, the students start pursuing further studies which increase their expenditure. Zero percent internships.

Placements: There are no placements. There is no placement cell either so that the students can get the jobs. The university is good for studying purposes, but if someone is looking for good job offers, it is not a good place for them. Those who have to pursue further M.Sc or PhD should only consider this university for admission.

Placements: The placements for the food technology have declined over the past 3 years at Panjab University. Otherwise, if we consider our strong alumni base, the current scenario can surely be improved. The average package for the undergraduates is 4-4.5 lakhs per annum and can go up to 7 lakhs per annum (offered by consultancy firms).

Placements: The placements are basically in BPO sector with the average salary of approximately Rs. 2,50,000 per annum. The BPO sector that had come was not of high status. B.Com student won't go for BPO jobs. They don't provide a role in the banking sector, accountant field. The company that visited was Airtel. The placements provided by my college is not good.

Placements: The department does not offer any placements. No company visits the campus. 0% students get internships and jobs with the help of the department. It is with their individual efforts that they can get placed somewhere after the course ends.

Placements: The placements of our batch and the batch seniors were not good, and only a few students were offered placements which were only for call centres, selling insurance, etc. The college did organise a placement drive, but the students could not get any good jobs. There were no internships for the students.

Placements: There were about 90% placements of the students who appeared for placements of the ECE department. The highest salary offered was 12 LPA and the lowest was near around 3.3 LPA. Companies included Delloite, Infosys, Wipro, Honda, Gemini Solutions, Code Brew, etc. But core companies for branches like ECE, EEE, and biotech rarely visit the college for placements and internships. But ECE students are qualified to sit for IT placements of Delloite and consultancies and business management. ...

Placements: None of the companies has visited for the placement drive, in our college at my time and I don't know what would be the situation right now. The students have to be on their own to get any job. I think this is the only thing that this college needs to improve.

Placements: The concept of placements is somewhat new to the institute. Only emerging firms visit the institute, and no reputed companies visit our college for placement. Last year, the average salary was around 2-2.5 lakhs per annum, and only 7-8 students were placed. However, this is a very high percentage because very few students opt for placement in the institute.
