Placements: The placements for 2014 batch were good, we saw companies like wipro, csc, persistent systems, unisys etc. Apart from these students were made to take the Amcat test, which further allowed students to get placed in companies like Cognizant, Accenture etc. The average salary offered was 3.05 Lacs. Usually IT based roles were offered. There is a placement cell which organises mock gd's to help the students prepare. Unfortunately only 30-40% was placed.

Placements: The college has a placement cell which includes faculty as well as students. Placements are decent for CSE and ECE departments. But, it was not a good scenario for mechanical and civil engineering students. Infosys is a mass recruiter. Some regular companies and some new companies visit our campus. During my time, there was limited exposure.

Placements: The college has a placement cell comprising of several teachers and students. However, it is not much active in bringing plenty of placement opportunities for students. Teachers guide the students on the personal front about various employment opportunities available outside the college.

Placements: 80% placements for our senior batch the highest package- 8-10 Lacs the lowest package-3 Lacs Average package- 3.75 Lacs Deloitte, jugnoo, Infosys, Vipro, etc. Are some of the companies visited our campus. Yes, we have our placement cell TPC and it is actively working to provide more and more jobs to the students.

Placements: The placement of the college is not there. Every year 2-3 companies visit the college and they pick very less students. The package offered is also very less 2-2.5L. Moreover there is a bond for 2years. In short there are no placements of the college.

Placements: The college does not offer placements, nor internships. Thus, no stipend was offered to the students. There should be placement opportunities for students who are studying in the college so that they can work.

Placements: Many students got placements call and placement drives were done in college but chartered accountant students don't go for these placement drives. One of my friend got a call for about 25000 without any experience but she is in view of going for Masters.

Placements: Placements in our college were not at all decent as only the call centres visited our campus to offer placements. If you want to pursue higher studies, then this college can be considered because of the low fee structure. Internships were not a part of the course curriculum. There is a placement cell in our college and those who want placements can seek their assistance.

Placements: There is a guidance and placement cell available here, but I don't think any student make use of it before. However, they try to provide some placement opportunities regularly, but there is rarely any student get placed from our college. They tried to place the students in a few banking firms earlier. But I think the placement opportunities available here are not that great. They say that the placement numbers will get improved with time, but it's not sure.

Placements: You get a chance to attend the interviews conducted by some national pharmaceutical companies, some healthcare centres, and pharmaceutical consulting firms. Pharma companies like NectarLife Sciences, Tirupati Medicare, and ZS, etc., visit the campus for placements. ZS also hires interns for internships. Various banking firms and NBFCs like HDFC, Axis Bank, Kotak, and Mahindra Finance, etc., visit the campus for placements.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college is very good in comparison to other colleges that offer chemical engineering course. Although I didn't get placed, the placement scenario is quite good. You can visit the college and check the placement section of our notice board if you need any confirmation. Many MNCs visit our campus for placements and offer roles of graduate engineer trainee. Placements: Placements in the college are average for the food technology department as most of the students get placed in non-core companies. The salary package offered ranges from 3.25-6.25 LPA. Good placement opportunities are available for the chemical engineering students with salary packages as high as 9-10 LPA.

Placements: Placements of SD College are the best in Tricity. Almost 8 companies visited the campus so far like Jaro Institute of Management, eClerx, Amazon (customer care), Finvasia, ICICI Bank (Ascend programme). The highest salary package offered until now is 5.5 LPA, and it was offered to 2 students by Jaro. Many other companies like L&T are expected to visit the campus in the next month with improved salary packages. Placements: Most of the students from our batch are still studying, and our seniors were placed in multinational companies. There are no placements facilities. I had to search for it on my own. During our time, none of the companies visited our college to offer placements.

Placements: The placement rate of our college was very good. Almost 80% of the students of our batch got placed in various MNCs and startup companies. The average salary package offered was also a respectful amount. Companies like Amdocs, OpenStax, Wipro and TCS, etc., visited our college for mass recruitment. They provided jobs for a specific duration.

Placements: Placements in the department of chemistry at Panjab University, Chandigarh are not particularly well versed. It collaborates with university placement cell, but chemistry being a basic core field, industrial placements are of little importance. Being a final year student in masters, all I came across was Aakash Institute which offered the highest salary package among others, i.e., about 8 LPA. Other pharmaceutical companies also visited like Baddi based company ANM, and others were Cipla, Mankin...

Placements: The college doesn't organise any placement drives. However, there has been a placement cell in the college, and it has failed on the grounds of inviting companies to the college for placements. Placement cell conducts regular seminars regarding interview tips and everything, but you have to apply outside the college for a job. Every year, a lot of companies like Jaro, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Naukri.com, etc., visit the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is nearly 3-3.50 LPA. The highest salary package offered is nearly 6 LPA. Most of the companies offered sales profiles.

Placements: Placements were good for the students of biotechnology branch. However, there are very less core biotechnology companies that visited the college for placements. In our batch, around 80% of the interested students got placed.

Placements: There is no placement cell in our college. But they provide us with career counsellors and provide us with the information of vacancies at different private institutes. From this year, a new period has been added in which teachers guide the students for their career as well as their life after college which help us to gain some knowledge and experience.
