Review of PRIST University - Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: The college provides good placements in CSE. A good number of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The roles offered are associate software engineer, associate system engineer etc. Very few students got internships, but many students got placed in MNCs.

It has good faculty members and facilities, and I am satisfied with the teaching quality and events.

Placements: This is the best place to learn something new and get easily placed after graduation. Some of the top recruiting companies visit the campus, and students get placed easily. The college is very good and organises industrial visits for the students of all years.

There is a good infrastructure for education.

Placements: Roles like application development associate, technical trainee and support engineer are offered in our college. Many companies visit here and recruit students as per their requirement. Students are trained well for placements so that they can easily qualify in interviews.

Worth the money. If you want to study at medium fee structure in good premises, join this college.

Placements: 75% of our seniors got placed in reputed companies, especially from CSE department because IT companies recruited many students. All bio departments like biotech and biomedical students also get placed in India and abroad too.

Best place for entertainment.

Placements: There was no campus interview but we had some off campus. We need to struggle a lot to get placement. You have to try your own to get your desired job. Mechanical Engineers are the worst Batch who gets only Rs8,000 salary. So in 3rd year concentrate on Design software to get placement.

Placements: Don't expect placements in this college, No core company will come for campus interview. They Conduct Job Fair every year one time for all students even off-campus students also participate on that Job Fair but job is not guaranteed for everyone its just a hope !

There are poor placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are not available for arts and science courses, but they conduct job mela every year at their campus. More than 20 companies will come for that event. The entry is free for on-campus students, and for other institutions' students, they need to pay some amount as an entry fee to attend the job mela.

Dissatisfied because of normal teachers and some faculty.

Placements: Few students are placed in our batch 2014-2017. 60-97 percent students were placed. The salary ranged from Rs. 16,500-Rs. 20,000. Some companies visited. Above 70 percent students got an internship. Some data roles were offered to the students. I am confused to tell about the placement cell.

Wasted 4 years of my life in PRIST.

Placements: There is no chance of placement in this university, and not even a single company came to the on-campus requirement. We had placement cell, and they collected fee amount of Rs. 4,500 for training, but it is a waste of time and money. They don't even care about the students future. The only motive of the college is a fee.

Fact about my college review by a last bench student.

Placements: Full of fake arrangements, conducting a job fair for the past three years. But still, there is no 50% of job creations. Somewhat attend the interview and get selected, but can't receive the call letter. Conclude quite still fake placement. Every year the first week of February, they were conducting the job fair.

Worst college of my life and my career.

Placements: Our seniors were placed in small enterprises. My friend was also placed in a small enterprise. 10% of students were placed. The highest package offered by those companies was Rs. 13,000 per month, the lowest package offered was Rs. 8000 per month and the average package offered was Rs. 5000 per month. The companies like Amazon, TCS, City Union Bank and many BPO companies visit the campus for placements. Wastage of money, time, and talent.

Placements: They only call BPO companies for the placement. Not a single person from my senior batch got placed in IT companies. The highest package they offered was Rs. 1,68,000 per year and the lowest package was Rs. 96,000 per year. Major companies which visited my college was MTS Telecom, Videocon, Vodafone, etc. The companies offered customer care executive role to my batch and my senior batch. The stipend offered to the students were Rs 7,000 to Rs. 9000. Only few students got an internship. ...

Complete dissatisfied due to placement. They teach from the exam's prospective, not for knowledge.

Placements: There is negligible placement in my college. After completion of the batch, they conduct placement by calling few companies like Mindq (i don't remember names) etc. for the position of tele caller, email support kind of jobs. After getting engineering degree, doing these kinds of job is worthless.

Good academic and good scope for practical. But the placement activities is not much better although some of students was selected in campus placement with minimum salary package. One more concern about this institution is it is very far from rest of North India. You will need 12 hrs traveling from Chennai.

Satisfied from college, good infrastructure, average placement, facilities are amazing.

Placements: In 2017, around 60% of the students are placed easily on campus and some other students are placed off-campus. The highest package is around 12 LPA and the lowest is around Rs 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Nagarro. The top roles offered are SDE, Data Analyst, etc. Less number of students are selected for internships here but at the time of placement, almost all students secured their seats.

Placements: 1. Less than 40% - 50% of students got placed. 2. The highest salary is INR 17,000 and the lowest salary is INR 8000. 3. L&T is the top recruiting company. Mostly the college call for voice assistance companies. 4. Designing and Site Engineer is the job role offered.
