Punjabi University Patiala Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Punjabi University has a placement cell which helps the students for their placements drives. Placements for our batch were quite good and almost 68%of the students were placed. Infosys is a mass recruiter since the last few years ago. Other recruiters are Mahindra, TCL, HCL, Lava, Aircel etc.

Placements: This college have very good placement. Many companies visited college in a year and give good placement to the qualified students. Companies like HCl technologies, indigo airlines visited for placement per year. Overall placement is very good. Mostly student gets placement in a year.

Placements: Placements are not upto the mark however above average. Students join only to get experience because packages provided are nominal. Placement cell working very hard to improve and offer several companies to come and interact. Generally companies find communication problems but the institution doing its best effort to improve it.

Placements: Placement for mechanical is not good. Depends on the student, weather he wants to be placed or not, because mostly companies are IT companies like Infosys, which is a mass recruiter. Mechanical companies are very few and they place only few students (like 5-10 students). In my batch around 50%students got placed.

Placements: 30-40% students in each batch get placed in various companies. Salary package from 1.5-2.5 LPA is being offered. All of the students got internship in our batch. Stipend amount given to the interns depends upon what kind of internship/project they are going through. There is placement cell where students are groomed for interviews.

Placements: IT Companies, FMCG Companies, Banking Sector, online marketing companies etc. Visited the campus for placement. Near about 30% student were placed in these companies from our Batch. There is a placement cell which is very active. The salary package offered to student was ranging from 2.40 Lac p. a to 8 p. a.

Placements: In last five years various companies visited campus Infosys (3.25) Lacs, Jsw Steel (4.75) Lacs, Indian Army (As per scale), Tech Mahindra (3.25) Lacs, Clicklabs (5) Lacs, TCS (3.80) Lacs, HP (5) Lacs, Akaash Foundation (5.61) Lacs, Cognizant (3) Lacs, AIS (2.75) Lacs are among major companies visited the package the highest offered was by akash education 5.61 Lacs the lowest by AIS 2.75 Lacs the average package lies around 3.5 Lacs. Placements: The placements of our batch and our senior batch were not very good. Only 45-55% students got placed every year. Companies visited the campus was IBM, HCL, Wipro, HDFC Bank, etc. Roles offered to the students was sales officer, etc. I don't know about the internships.

Placements: Placements for our batch and the senior batch was not that good and not that bad. Approximately, 50 percent of students got placed here every year. Here, companies like Indian Overseas, Yes Bank, etc., visit our college for placements. I don't know exactly what type of roles were offered to the students here.

Placements: In 2016, most of the placements here are conducted in the IT sector with few placements in the core mechanical companies. Also, the package offered here is average which is about Rs. 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. This university is mainly for the sports activities. A lot of opportunities are present for the sports student here, and once you win any medal here, then you will get 10 marks credit in advance and the college fee and the mess bill which is up to Rs. 3,000 per month, will be free.

Placements: The placement depends upon the efficiency of the student. If a student is hardworking and sincere in his/her work, then he/she can get clients and cases easily. Lawyers, who study the cases in detail along with the knowledge of books and recent cases, get the clients with their efficiency.

Placements: Earlier big companies were not approaching our college, but now when our college shifted to Sector-50 in its independent building, big companies are coming for placements. During my time, E&Y is one of the biggest firms in India which came for the interviews. So now there is good exposure for the students.

Placements: The placements were not offered for B.Com course. Many companies visit the campus for placements for other courses like B.Sc, CSM, MBA, and B.Tech. The companies like Infosys and google visit the campus for placements. Around 82% is the lowest, 85% is the average, and 90% is the highest got internship students from this college. There is an internship cell in the college.

Placements: You will be given the placement by the institute itself or given by the third party recruiters. The recruiters, who come to the institute are sole proprietorship enterprises mostly, who can give you a maximum of 10-15K package per month. Most of the students don't prefer to go with them. Almost, 100% of the students got the internship/summer training. The institute doesn't give you a stipend. Placements: Only Infosys comes to the college. If you do well in that, else your career will be at stake. There are no placements for civil and mechanical branches. Do good in Infosys placement and get selected in the world-class company. I personally recommend you to be a part of Infosys family. Mysore branch is one of the best in the world.

Placements: There were placements, but the companies were not that much reputed, and they were not offering high packages, but the college is making efforts to perform better in placements. The college must make a placements cell and divide the work among students so that maximum companies can be called up and placements can be held.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus, but the college has a few strength. The teachers are good. Because of placements, this college is at number-2 in Chandigarh. Various companies visit the college for placements. Seniors on the campus are friendly, helpful, and the students get involved in various activities. Our college ranked second in meme also.

Placements: When it comes to the placements, most of the students got placed in MNC companies. But, some are individually taking up the contractors by themselves. My seniors are doing jobs in various sectors like architecture, design, estimation, environment engineers, and very few in teaching field.

Placements: The placement of Multani Mal Modi college is very good. Above 80% students were placed. The average salary they offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. Axis Bank and HDFC Bank visited the campus. They offered assistant manager post. The teachers were very helpful and cooperative.

Placements: There are zero percent placements for the civil department, and I am pity sure for next 10 years also no company is going to come for the placements in this university. Even there are no extra curriculum activities which are gonna help you out for the job outside the university.
