Punjabi University Patiala Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The placements were not that much good as I had just done B.Com. The companies require a candidate with more experience and high educational background. Companies like Ernst and Young, and Godrej came to select the candidates for recruitment, and our teacher gave the best guidance to crack their selection process.

Placements: The placements are average mostly due to graduate students only. Due to lack of PG courses, the campus placements are not much here which is one of the drawbacks of the college. Also, the placement agencies are not much in this region which makes a point of concern.

Placements: The placement opportunities are there for two years MBA students who study in the school of management science. In the department where five years integrated course is pursued, there are only few placement opportunities. Fewer students remain after BBA, and the students leave the department.

Placements: The placements are done by many companies like ICICI Bank, Share Khan Co.Ltd. The salary package is between 13 LPA to 35 LPA. The roles offered in the companies are a clerk, HR, sales department, etc. About 60% of the students got the internship from college. There is a separate placement cell in the campus and is very useful for the students to get the internship.

Placements: Many companies come to placement, but they just come and go. Every year, the college organises joint campus placement, but as I told, they just come and go. So, just forget about placement. So if you want to join the college for the sake of placement, then forget it.

Placements: The placement in the college is good, about 50-60% of the students got placed in my final year. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 lacs per annum, and minimum salary package offered was 2.5 lacs per annum. The companies that visited the campus are Lava, Infosys, Telcocrats Technology, and also many more IT companies have visited the campus. Mostly, technical and software development roles are offered. Some students got internships in the campus, but no stipends were provided.

Placements: The placements for our batch was average. Approximately 35% of the placements were done in the college. Major companies visit Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Bebo technologies, Asahi glass etc. There is also a collaboration with Chitkara University Rajpura, Chandigarh University and Mohali for placement drives.

Placements: Below the average placements can be found in the college. There are very few or no placements in the Punjabi University. Not many companies visit the campus for the recruitment. Our seniors also did not have good placements. The college management also provides no internships to the students. The students have to do efforts for the internships and regarding their jobs.

Placements: Placement of students in our college is good. Last year a very good percentage of students from our college were placed in top b-schools. A lot of interview do happen in our college and very established companies come in our college for the placement of students.

Placements: Only a few students got placed. Companies like ernst & young, godrej, etc. Visited the college. They placed only few highly knowledgeable students in their company. Average salary offered was 2.5 Lacs p.a. There were no internships provided by the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not so good. They do not provide training and placement programmes, and there is no CRC team here. Hardly 20% of the students get placements. Moreover, not many companies visited the campus for placement and did not offer any special roles. The stipend offered is very low to students.

Placements: The placements in our college are not enough, as there are placements only for the CSE students, which is very less for the mechanical and the civil engineering students. The college doesn't invite any companies, so there are very fewer opportunities to get into the placement from this college in the mechanical and the civil engineering.

Placements: The placements are good. The students are well-settled. Almost all the students had employed in the companies. 98% students got the placements. The salary was offered upto Rs. 80,000 per annum. The students who studied in this college are done post graduation with a good percentage and took degrees after the completion of their post-graduation. The students are well-settled and doing jobs with a good salary for their work.

Placements: Placements are done on merit. Meritorious students get placed in multinational companies easily. 25% of our seniors got placed last year. Their minimum salary offered was 35000 rupees and the average goes up to 40000 rupees. Another 30% of the students got an internship.

Placements: Good placements at Infosys for students of computer and electronics, and computer engineering branches. It is not so good for civil and mediocre for mechanical. There are 90% placements in computer and electronics and CS. The maximum package this year went to a mechanical student. 15% students got an internship from the college.

Placements: There are several companies such as Infosys, Signicent, Cheema Boilers, SML Isuzu and Icurious which visit the campus for the placement of the mechanical engineering branch. On an average, 30% students are placed in various companies. The placed student are offered job according to their qualification. The highest package is about 22 lacs and the average package is about 3.5 lacs per annum.

Placements: Nice placement drive. A maximum number of students gets placed in higher companies. The highest package would be given to them. Campus placements are very good. A good communication environment is there with a better option to build the future. We have our own message to build up my career in any stream that is the best college to get degrees, not just that we could get a degree, we also get professional enthusiasm from that.

Placements: The placements are good and the students get placed at a decent package for freshers when placed in companies like Newgen, Infosys, etc. Those who work hard for 4 years definitely get placed after the hard work that they have done. For those who just pass their 4 years as it is, there is no placement.

Placements: Placement is quite good. Companies like Infosys, Newgen, SAP and Indian Navy visited us every year for placement. Infosys provided 3.25 lakhs to every B.Tech student and 3.50 lakhs to M.Tech and MCA students. Newgen provided a package of 4.25 lakhs to b.tech students.

Placements: There are very good placement records in the university. Almost 80% students are placed every year. Students are given full guidelines about placements. The highest package offered during placement is 6.5 lakhs per annum and lowest package offered is 3 lakhs per annum.
