Review from a 2017 passout.

Placements: SASTRA ensures 100% placement for its students. The placement cell is so friendly with the students, such that the students don't feel any pressure before attending complex interview processes. PayPal, Zoho, Musigma and FreshDesk are some of the well known recruiters. Annually, TCS recruits students in bulk numbers.

The perfect place to start career.

Placements: Placements are the major feature of SASTRA. Every year almost everyone graduate with an offer letter in hand, some with multiple offers. A wide variety of companies visit for recruitment. Salaries for Computer Science based jobs range from 3 to 10+ Lacs per annum. Both product and service based companies visit placements.

I am satisfied because I got enough industrial experience in our college.

Placements: Only a few handful numbers of placements are there in core companies, but you can be placed easily in any IT companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. You must be more talented to get placed in core companies because the competition was really big. If you expect more core companies, then this is not a better place.

A good place to transform a student to budding managers.Advisable if more companies come for recruit

Placements: Decent placements for MBA students. There is a training and placement department which helps the students to get placed who have 7 and above CGPA. Maximum salary could be 6 Lacs by Honeywell and few other companies like TCS, Zoho offered a decent package of 5 Lacs. Even internship offers are provided by our college but only few companies provide stipend.

On the whole Sastra is the best choice I would suggest.

Placements: The placements in Sastra are always good, more than 90 percent of the students are placed. There are different levels of salary packages available according to the necessity and your knowledge. If you get placed in the core companies correspondingly, your salary will increase.

Mess of stuff in a place.

Placements: In my batch, the placements have not started yet for seniors. There are a good number of students are placed. Around 70% of them are placed. Salary is around 10000 to 40000. The company that had visited Zoho, TCS, etc. There is no internship offered for MCA candidates. Placement cell is available in sastra and it is very useful.

Take back the memory with placement order.

Placements: At Sastra, placements are high compared to other colleges in Tamilnadu because Sastra tops among Asian university. Last year among 1956 students 1456 got placed in both IT and non IT sector. Many students prefer Sastra college for its placement and exposure.

Think Merit. Think Transparency. Think SASTRA. Overall very good placements in 2016.

Placements: The placements for my batch has been very good and every year it has seen its uprising. Around 95% of the students got placed and the rest opted for MS. the highest salary mentioned was by Direct (27LPA) followed by Paypal (20LPA) and Amazon (17LPA) and the lowest salary by CSS Corp (around 1-2LPA) and average salary by Microsoft (around 9-10LPA). Wide range of companies starting from TCS, IBM, Zoho, Symantec, Freshworks, Latentview, MuSigma, Ford etc. Most of the roles offered were based on the...

Everyone can go and enjoy the atmosphere because of friendliness around us.

Placements: The college gives secure study and 100% placements. One can be a real graduate when comes out of this college. The professors out there are very friendly in nature towards students. The atmosphere was eco-friendly. Summers are a little bit tough to stay there. Overall, there will be some good stuff in form of sports, cultural heritage, meetups, etc.

My review of my life at School of Management - SASTRA.

Placements: Placements are slightly poor for MBA. Only 30% of students were placed. The average package is also very less. I'm not that much satisfied with the previous batches records regarding placements. The maximum package is six Lacs (Rs.600000). And only 2 persons got that package.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are good on comparing other colleges in this area. Moreover, there should be an improvement over HR recruiting companies and marketing as well. Still, the finance has a good scope over the campus, but other specialisations should also be in.

We have good placements and excellent infrastructure in our college.

Placements: The placements are very good in our college. There are many companies visit our campus for the placements and recruit the students. The recruiting companies always look for good communication skills of the students, and they expect students answers to be short and sweet. They expect students to have good body language and subject knowledge as well.

One of the most prestigious university.

Placements: When compared to Thanjavur, Trichy region is good. But need improvement in to compete with other brand institution like TSM, SRM and other institutions for considering MBA only. Then must avoid the insurance based firm's campus placement. Finally trying to place all the students.

If your aim is to get a job and settle, go for it !

Placements: 1. Placements as a whole is good. This is considering the fact that you are ready to grab any job offer that comes your way. 2. If you are keen about nailing a core offer from L&T, maintain your CGPA above 7.5. There might be a few companies from Middle East too. For my batch around 15 got placed in L&T including me and a few in Middle East companies like towell Engineering.

Placements: It's raining jobs at SASTRA. Absolutely, those who join the college will get a job for sure if you have a good academic record. No need to worry if we lose one job because we will be allowed to attend 'n' number of companies. The placement department will help and care us a lot.

Placements: I am sure a student in Sastra will definitely placed, if he can't in core companies at least he will be placed in non tech or any other branch related companies. As far I know all my seniors got placed and few people were't showed up to interviews as they want to do Masters. The highest package got to CSE guy in paypal for 27LPA and average salary one can expect is 3.6LPA. IT companies such as TCS, Wipro, Freshworks will recruit the students in bulk. Core companies will give very few offers to the best candidates.
