Pros - Good T&P cell, good and enough placements. You will get enough time to do, what you love to do, as the courses are not so tough. So, even with a little effort you can do well. Some of the faculties have good professional network, so if you are close to them, they can fetch you some good project. Cons - Overall faculty members are really bad and inexperienced. Out of 10 faculties only two might be good enough to teach engineering. Worst management, so much of restrictions for no good reaso...

A well-disciplined college and admission is purely on merit basis. The college fees is considered to be highly reasonable on comparing with other colleges. I must say that the placement for the computer science department is extremely superb. Every student in the department will get a job at the end of his college life but for departments other than computer science, not all will get a job in their respective core companies. A highly secured college for girls.

Classes at Sastra are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentations. An equal weightage of 50% is given to both internal and external exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. Although surprise tests are not very common but students try and stay as up-to-date as possible. The college houses competitive cross-section of more than 950-1200 students. There is a good mix of students from d...
