A good engineering college in India. Has a very good scope for development and more over is famous for the placements. Departmental wise Bio-Technology, ECE and Mechanical departments are having very good faculty and facilities as well though there is discrimination for other departments but still somehow I feel that these three are better. Unlike peers SRM and VIT, SASTRA has no entrance test of its own, and there are almost three long months to apply at SASTRA, well after many universities and colleges have wound up their admissions. SASTRA also claims that it doesn’t believe in university rankings by various magazines, but admits that it participates in one such ranking. SASTRA is a good place to graduate from. It gives a company of smart people around you. The lab and research facilities are par excellent. It provides a good infrastructure support at a nominal fee. Hostels are livable. It is worth the money to study there. As heard from my seniors, SASTRA has got good reputation abroad as well. It has SAP (Semester Abroad Programme) and student exchange programmes which has MoUs signed with leading universities across the globe like Georgia Tech, Harvard, etc. ...

Placements: Sastra University has good placement like in our Course 67% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 27 LPA and the lowest Package offered is 3 to 9 LPA. Internship opportunities in our Course is 56%. Recruiting companies such as Flipkart, Amazon, Ekart and Many. Our University have good Placement.

Placements: Hundred percent placement can in sastra the highest and the lowest package only 30000 for per semester CGPA can above eight percent can we eligible for attend the campus interview in sastra deemed University B.Com is the best course ever in valuable money for the course .

Placements: 85% above students were placed. The highest salary is 45 lakhabove. Average - 7.5 Lacs. Top companies - microsoft, asian paints, teach mahindra, amazon, TVS, samsung. Etc. Internship percent 20 to 25%. VLSI, Mpmc, devicelabs are available with more courses.

Placements: I am from EEE course and my specialisation is smart grid and electrical vehicles it is one of the rare and unique in whole india and more number companies will hier the students in sastra we will have our own knowledge after our completion of 4 years in sastra

In sastra.My course is one of the best out there.Most of the students get placed.The average package is around 8 lakh per annum ni my branch least being 6 lakhs per annum and highest is around 20 lakhs per annum.There are companies like PAYPAL,OPTUM,TCS and etc.,almost more then 80% of students get placed remaining may be not intested or opted for higher studies
