It is a good college to choose, to have a great future.

Placements: The placements are good, and many opportunities are provided to the students. After working for 2 years for a particular company, students are given a chance of working abroad, and it is based on the performance of the students in their company. Startups and developed companies are visiting the campus to recruit the students.

Amazing Campus Life and Good placements in 2015.

Placements: To be honest, most of the students end up working in an IT/ITES companies, irrespective of their field of study. And for that matter, the number of placements are fairly good with a minimum package of 2.5-3 LPA. Some of my batch mates and seniors went on to pursue their Masters degree course and a few where also placed in reputed Manufacturing companies like Caterpillar, Royal Enfield, Hyundai Motors, Ford Motors, TVS Motors, Titan, etc. Here the annual package ranged between 4.5-6.5 LPA. It's Worthy for all academic lovers who want to acheive something in life.

Placements: Core companies for the EEE department are very less, when compared to other departments. You must always stay focused and alert to have a better result at the end. If you opt for higher studies like MS, MBA, GATE or, Civils or any other sort, then you are pretty lucky because the college connects you with the required people and makes your job easier. But when it comes to internships, don't even dream of thinking that the college would help you in getting one. They would not bother in searching ...

It is a top private college in india.

Placements: Sastra, for its brand name, it has plenty of recruiting companies. Amongst them, TCS and Zoho are the mass recruiters of Sastra. The students from IT, ICT, CSE, ECE got placed. Core companies like Cisco Bosch and Tata Communications are also hiring students from ECE.

SASTRA an University to look for the best!

Placements: Placements in SASTRA are evergreen still holding great with more than 90% placements. Major companies visited recently are amazon, PayPal, Microsoft, TCS and many more to come. The training has been consistent and more supportive from T&P Department. TCS had recruited around 700 students from recent batch.

The courses are fine and faculty members are helpful. The hostel could have had buildings.

Placements: The placement on our campus is almost 80%. The highest salary package is around Rs. 20 Lacs per annum and was for one or two students. The average salary offered is around Rs. 3 Lacs per annum. A few companies I knew that came were Hyundai, New sigma, TCS, Ashok Leyland, Cyprus and more. The branch I study is B.Tech EEE is a part of SEEE and offers a good knowledge of subjects. There is a placement cell in our college.

A worthy college for a hardworker.

Placements: Students who study in sastra definitely go out with a job. But, the job may or may not be the one you've been expecting. You will have IT companies. So if you are in one these computer branches you can surely be assured a job if you have an average CGPA with no standing arrears in the last. 25 Lacs will be the highest and rare package offered only by 2 or 3 companies Average package may vary from 3.2 to 4 Lacs per annum. Most companies that visit sastra are IT and Marketing based but are well ...

I am satisfied because I got enough industrial experience in our college.

Placements: Only a few handful numbers of placements are there in core companies, but you can be placed easily in any IT companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. You must be more talented to get placed in core companies because the competition was really big. If you expect more core companies, then this is not a better place.

A good place to transform a student to budding managers.Advisable if more companies come for recruit

Placements: Decent placements for MBA students. There is a training and placement department which helps the students to get placed who have 7 and above CGPA. Maximum salary could be 6 Lacs by Honeywell and few other companies like TCS, Zoho offered a decent package of 5 Lacs. Even internship offers are provided by our college but only few companies provide stipend.

One of the most prestigious university.

Placements: When compared to Thanjavur, Trichy region is good. But need improvement in to compete with other brand institution like TSM, SRM and other institutions for considering MBA only. Then must avoid the insurance based firm's campus placement. Finally trying to place all the students.

The college was nice. It depends merely on the individual to shine in their respective branches.

Placements: The placements were one of the reasons why Sastra was considered as a topmost college in India. Every year, a lot of students will be placed. The CSE, IT, and ICT, students will be placed in the top MNCs if the students have excellent coding skills. Amazon, PayPal will come for recruitment of computer science students and all it depends on the individual for getting recruited. The other branches such as mechanical, civil, and electrical students can also be placed in their respective core compan...

Satisfied with the facilities, faculty, infrastructure, library, etc.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. Most of the companies eligibility criteria are above 7 CGPA, so 90% of the people are placed, who have CGPA above 7. So, if we maintain above 7 CGPA, it is enough here. It not meant who have less than 7 CGPA were not placed, they will also place but as I previously told that most of the companies have eligible criteria is above 7.

Pretty good college to invest in for an undergrad degree.

Placements: Our college is well known for the placements. Every year, around 30% of the students get placed in core companies like L&T, and around 20-30% students get placed in product based companies like Zoho and rest of them get placed in IT companies like Accenture, Tata consultancy services, Infosys, etc.

SASTRA and it's promising education.

Placements: SASTRA has one of the best placement in the whole of Tamil Nadu. Sastra has been tied up with TCS for many years that they recruit more than 900 people every year, this makes possible for 100 percent placement and also so many other multinational companies visit SASTRA for recruitment.

Placements: Placements play a vital role in deciding the name and fame of any college. Here in Sastra, very few students graduated the college without a job offer in their hand. Right from top-notch companies in the world like Microsoft, Paypal to decent companies like TCS, Ashok Leyland etc. visit Sastra every year to recruit students offering with the finest packages ranging from 21 LPA to 3.2 LPA. Academically it is a good college, good placements, bad hostel food, but there are restrictions.

Placements: The placements are mainly concerned with one company. During my batch, 700 students were placed in TCS alone. The salary package was around Rs. 22,000 per month. Apart from it, several other reputed companies have visited and recruited us, but the numbers were few. The placement cell does a wonderful job. Sastra is a good place to begin a great career.

Placements: The placements were really good. The major recruiter is TCS. Many leading companies with good packages did come for IT and CS department. Ebay, Paypal, and Microsoft provide a maximum package. For mechanical branch too, the placements are good. Hyundai, Caterpillar, Ashok Leyland, L&T, TEL, Renault Nissan, Lukas, and TVS visited and hired according to their requirements.

Placements: The TPD provided extensive dive placement support to the students. Those who excel get very good packages. There are companies which do mass recruit as well. All the students are provided with placement support courses for personality development and improving oratory skills in the 5th and 6th semester which helps students a lot who have inhibitions while speaking. The highest salary offered was 21 LPA by eBay. The average was around 3.3 LPA TCS, Accenture and IBM.

Really a good college and is definitely a place to learn and have a chance to prove yourself.

Placements: About 90% of the students will be placed. The average package oscillates between Rs. 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. It has a NIRF 25th rank, and it's definitely a place to learn and a chance to prove yourself as a student after the failure in securing a JEE seat in an NIT or IIT. Overall, its a good college and a nice last option for the students who have done exceptionally well in their board examinations, or one who has scored 140 to 170 in JEE Mains.

A college which is in top 5 for biotech in India have arsenal of high technical equipment.

Placements: Most of the batch students had opted for the higher education. Few of them were placed in IT companies and were offered system engineer roles. Dr.Reddy's recruited 3 students. The salary offered was above 4 lacs per annum in 2013. The placement cell was efficient to hire the companies to campus. However, only one core company visited, and it was not sufficient considering the batch size.
