In this college, proper training is not provided to students for their placements.

Placements: Placements have just started. Students have not been given training for placements properly this time, and it is conducted only for 8 days. So if students can prepare by themselves, then they will get placed, otherwise, it will be difficult to secure a job with a decent package.

I am satisfied with university's maintenance and facilities, but not satisfied with its teachers.

Placements: Around 60% of students are placed, but occasionally, almost 80% is possible. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 20 LPA. TCS, HP, Infosys, and others are the top recruiting companies. Almost 20% of students get internships. Web development and data analytics roles are offered.

I am satisfied with our college but it is not good at games.

Placements: Placements are good as a maximum number of students get placed every year. Students are provided with good and effective core placement training to enhance their skills and knowledge. Around 15 to 20 companies visit every year to hire students with a minimum salary package of 1.5 to 25 LPA.

Dissatisfied because of coaching, placements, and there is no values and humanity in the education.

Placements: There were not many placements than the previous year. It is worthless, especially for bioengineering. Politics played a role in placements also. It is a complete waste of money and time. There is no proper coaching of aptitude for the students who attended for placements.

Our college is not better than NITs and IITs.

Placements: Placements in our college are satisfactory. TCS is the main recruiter of SASTRA. The college invites product-based and product-based companies with good packages. In 2015, SASTRA created a record by placing 1500 students in TCS compared to other universities.

Placements: There is a decent percentage of placements. Most of them get placed in some sort of IT companies as usual. Three students were placed at PayPal with a package of 24 LPA which is pretty good. You don't need to worry about a job after coming to Sastra unless you are completely useless.

This College offers various courses and provides good facilities for the related courses. It is a best place for Bio related courses as there are research labs present for it. Equal weightage is given for both internals and externals. Class test, assignments and projects also adds up to the internal marks.

SASTRA University is the place to be if you are looking to do research or get placed quickly. The campus is very green and lush, and provides a wonderful atmosphere. Many of the fests, events and club activities are not easy to attend being a day scholar, due to the timing restraint. The staff vary in standards. Some of the staff can really extract t...

Pros - Good T&P cell, good and enough placements. You will get enough time to do, what you love to do, as the courses are not so tough. So, even with a little effort you can do well. Some of the faculties have good professional network, so if you are close to them, they can fetch you some good project. Cons - Overall faculty members are really bad and inexperienced. Out of 10 faculties only two might be good enough to teach engineering. Worst management, so much of restrictions for no good reaso...
