Placements: So Sathyabama University has wonderful placement opportunities. You have a wide range of well-reputed campus recruiters. They teach us good hands-on skills based on the campus recruiters' favours. Sathyabama not only gives us knowledge, they teaches us life and helps us get well placed in a good company.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure, especially if you see the admin block, you will be amazed to see such an elegant building at the entrance of the college. Every block had its own name and proper classrooms in it. The surroundings have greenery around it, which makes the campus more beautiful.

Faculty: To tell about the faculty members, they are very friendly with the students, and they provide good knowledge to each and every individual in the class. They support us in various curricula as well as in studies. In each semester, we will appear for two internal exams and one final semester exam, including assignments and a quiz.

Other: So, to tell you about my course, you will get proper laboratory access, good facilities and a good department. Once a year, they conduct culturals, which are mind-blowing. A lot of celebrities visit, and a lot of extracurricular activities take place.

Placements are good and environment is nice.

Placements: In our college the highest package is 40 LPA, the average package is 5 LPA, and the least is 2 LPA. Our university will help you for higher studies and jobs. Wipro, Amazon, and a lot of companies will come for our university.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the college in all places, and the library is full with books for study. Labs are clean and the ambiance of labs is very good. Classroom ambiance still needs to improve. Sports and games are also conducted. Mess and canteen are also good.

Faculty: Sathyabama University Chennai teachers will help for higher studies and higher education. Semester exams are difficult, mid exams are okay. The pass percentage of university is 60%, and ECE fee is very less. Scholarships are also available for ECE branch.

Other: Events and fests are conducted, and extracurricular activities are also available in our university. Classes and benches need to improve.

Premier institution but requires some improvisation.

Placements: Sudents with multiple degrees feel it’s harder to get a good job in this era, so the placement team mainly focuses on providing skill-based courses for the students. With such proper certified training and repeated practice of basic placement training, the students from MCA got placed in Accenture with a salary package of 24.6 Lacs per annum, which is the top package till now.

Infrastructure: It’s a premier institution, but their performances are not so appreciable like in the beginning of the college. Even though various updations arise, they follow the older procedures for all the processes, especially admissions, organizing exams, and attendance formalities. The level of security is not so tight.

Faculty: Lecturers stick to the textbooks, and their answers are like memorized content from various books. The possibility of scoring distinction scores is lower with such coaching. Lecturers say that they are experienced, but they are not up to the mark of students’ expectations.

Good placement records but with an outdated curriculum.

Placements: 80-90% of the students will definitely get placed in my course. The highest package is 35 LPA, the lowest is near 2 LPA, and average package is somewhere around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Virtusa, and several other service-based companies. Internship percentage is low compared to other courses. Top roles offered are software engineer, quality tester, and developer.

Infrastructure: We get all types of labs for all types of courses. We have college Wi-Fi which can be accessed through students' credentials. Classrooms are of mid quality, but CSE classrooms are good. Mess food is great. They offer non-veg meals for 3 days a week. Canteen is also great for a reasonable price.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good but clearing the doubts is one thing they do not do often. Course curriculum is outdated. It is not relevant to the current industry. Passing semester exams is difficult for average students. Pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing is that we can learn core concepts thoroughly. They should really update the course curriculum for the current trend and current syllabus. There will be multiple events conducted in this college. Grandly also celebrities will also attend these events.

SIST University facilities and management with placements.

Placements: 60-70% of students are placed from the ECE department easily. The highest package currently is 12 LPA, the lowest package currently is 3 LPA, and the average package currently is 6 LPA. Both IT & Core companies are top recruiters for 10% of students, it seems. Top roles offered are SDE role, data science, quality, and production.

Infrastructure: In college, there is no proper network, whereas in the department, we can get Wi-Fi anywhere in the college. Good infrastructure. The library facility is also good. Teaching is average. The average quality of facilities in the hostel is good; quality is not that great, but compared to outside, college food is better. Medical facilities are available, but there is a much higher cost in the dental hospital. Sports and games are based on our interests.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Maybe or maybe not, because we are studying, and also we don’t know. Semester exams will always be difficult, whereas we can score easily in CAE exams; it boosts our internals, so mainly focus on CAE rather than Sem exams.

Other: I planned to choose CSE, whereas relatives and cousins guided me to choose ECE for a good future, so I chose this department. Not all subjects are related to placement companies, so make sure what we studied will be helpful for our placement career. Add those subjects and remove the rest. Only fests will be there, and some college club events will be there, etc.

Overall, the college is morally good.

Placements: 30 LPA is the highest package of this academic year now. 6 LPA is the lowest package as per a new job in 2025. 56% of students are placed, and interviews are going on now. Infosis is the top recruiter of your college. 45% of students got internship in 6 semesters.

Infrastructure: Labs has moderate equipment. Each classroom consists of a projector, which is aesthetic. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, but only during break time in classrooms. Our Library consists of more than 5000 books on B.Tech and other subjects. Hostels are good, but the quality of food is moderate.

Faculty: The teaching is beneficial, but mostly sick of the PPTs. The lecturers are mostly Ph.D. graduates, and a few are B.Tech graduates. They also work on some experiments at the semiconductor industry research center, and develop products with the support of the college.
