Avg. College. In dairy sector getting job is really easy but you can't expect fast growth.
Placements: Most of the student get placed but salary will be somewhere around 10k and growth is really slow as compared to the other sector, 10k salary is also being given to labourer so as per finance part you will have the same status as a labourer has. So career growth is very slow.
Infrastructure: Labs are there but practical isn't possible for each student so teacher also push you for rote learning except few teacher. Wi-Fi is there in college but speed is like using 3g network. Conditions of hostels is the worst outsiders can't tolerate 5 min in hostels and insiders has become used to.
Faculty: Few teachers are really good but most of the teacher will push you to learn the things as they have made you write in your notes. You will rarely get opportunity to perform practical test here. And few teacher who hadn't taken a class in whole semester will provide you the question those will come in exams.
Other: Crowd inside campus is awesome!

Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: I had completed graduation specialisation in dairy technology which is ICAR affiliated course in this college with many placements during 2015-2019. In our course, 45 out of 65 students got placed with an average salary package of 4-9 LPA. Most of the students got placed in prominent organisations like Al Rawabi UAE, Hatsun Agro, Vadilal, Nestlé, Amul, Kwality Wall's, Namaste India, etc.
Infrastructure: In our department, cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. Every classroom is facilitated with a camera and Wi-Fi, and labs are also clean and well-furnished with every equipment. A dairy processing unit is established besides our department that provides dairy products 24x7. Hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi for every student, and mess provides well-hygienic food all day in every season. Our college provides medical facilities with 2 lacs insurance to every student, and a college hospital is available in front of the old hostel gate. In our college, many cultural events and sports are conducted from time to time.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and opulent in knowledge. Few faculty members came from international backgrounds. They provide better knowledge of your course and make sure that every student gets a proper attachment with practical knowledge. They work very hard to get successful results.
Other: When I completed 12th, I decided to enter in the engineering field, which provides a secured job, so I came here for B.Tech in dairy technology, which has many placements. Accommodation of our department is less attractive that make a little problem for student's comfort. The department should replace green boards to digital media boards with a projector for every classroom. As per the record, every year there are many cultural and technical fest held over here. The campus is filled with domestic and international students. Students are very creative with new ideas and technology. Scholarships are provided to every required student who is financially weak and belongs to backward classes.

Really great campus and really enjoyable environment.
Placements: Nearly 20% students have graduated including the placements provided from the college. The salary starts from 25K and goes on. The major recruiting companies are amul, mother dairy etc. Some of the important roles regarding this course is quality assurance, production controller, etc.
Infrastructure: The class and availabilities are of average rating. There is a well occupied library for the reference. But regarding the hostel and mess utterly dissatisfied. The food provided is quite bad in my opinion. Other than these drawbacks college is really great.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and are really helpful towards the students they stand with the students for any assistance wanted. When looking forward to the exams, exams are quiet simple and is easy to pass. There are 8 semesters out of which there are 7 semester exams and the 8th semester include industrial training.

Overall, world-class facilities are provided, but placements need to be more focused.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed in dairies across India. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Amul Dairy is the topmost Indian dairy and Almarai is the topmost overseas dairy. Almost 100% of the students got an internship all over dairies across India. Generally, in the dairy department, around 60 to 70% of the students get placed in a well-reputed company. Placement is nil for other courses. The college faculty and especially placement cell should take it seriously.
Infrastructure: The campus, labs, library, hostels are equipped with the latest technology gadgets and equipment. The quality of the food served in the mess is excellent. Sports and games facilities are world-class. The entire campus is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. The infrastructure of our college is excellent compared to money.
Faculty: Professionals in our college are highly qualified, which created an atmosphere of utmost curiosity. The course curriculum makes students according to industry. Last year, dairy technology students got hands-on training and experimental learning.
Other: I thing the FMCG industry will not stop working because food is needed for survival by all beings. National milk day is celebrated on 26th November every year to mark the birthday of the father of white revolution Dr Vergheese Karien. Annual sport is conducted to make people aware of games and their health benefits. The scholarship is provided for economically weaker section of society.

The faculty for my course is good.
Placements: 80% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was Rs.300000 and the lowest was Rs.150000. Amul is one of the top recruiting companies in my course. 50% of the students were given internships in my course in companies like Amul. Top roles are offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The quality of the facilities in our hostel are good. The quality of food is not bad in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are so friendly. Sports and games facilities are good as well.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good and this course is curriculum relevant. The semester exams are the hard and the passing CGPA is 5.5.

A:

SHUATS placements may vary depending on the specific programme you're considering for placements. Here's a breakdown:

SHUATS has a Directorate of Career Planning and Counseling (DCPC) that actively works with students on career development and placement opportunities. They organize workshops, mock interviews, and career counseling sessions to help students prepare for the job market.

Some sources report that around 75% of students get placed through on-campus placements. This can vary depending on the program, with some like Food Technology, Dairy Technology, and Agriculture having better placement rates than others.

Well-known companies like Nestle, ITC, and Parle Agro have been known to recruit from SHUATS.

Q:   What is the average package offered at SHUATS?

A:

However, based on my research from multiple sources, the average package offered at SHUATS generally falls within the range of 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. This means that on average, SHUATS graduates can expect to receive an annual salary in this range upon placement.

Here are some specific examples of average package estimates I found:

  1. Shiksha: They report an average package of 3.5 LPA for B.Tech graduates at SHUATS.
  2. Their estimate for the average package is also around 3.5 LPA.
  3. Student reviews: While student reviews offer anecdotal evidence, some mention achieving packages as high as 6 LPA, while others report receiving average offers of around 3 LPA.

Remember, these are just averages, and individual experiences may vary depending on the factors mentioned earlier. It's important to research the specific programme you're interested in and consider other factors like internships and skill development to get a more complete picture of your potential career trajectory after graduating from SHUATS.
