SHIATS Application Form 2026: Check Registration Date, Fees & How to Apply

SHIATS Entrance Exam is conducted once a year. The exam usually takes place in June, and the university will post the date for the exam on its official website several months before the exam date.

Candidates may apply for the exam online on the university's website. The dates of registration typically start in early March and close in late May.

There is no restriction on the age for the SHIATS entrance examination. Anyone wishing to take the exam can apply, regardless of age. Of course, the undergraduate exams do require candidates to have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised board of education to be eligible.

SHIATS Entrance Exam is a multiple choice exam consisting of 100 questions. The questions are divided into 3 sections:

1. Physics: 30 questions
2. Chemistry: 30 questions
3. Mathematics: 40 questions

Each question carries 1 mark NO negative marking. Conducted in offline mode for duration of 1.5 hours.

SHIATS 2026 Admit Card is a mandatory document that needs to be downloaded from website. The SHIATS 2026 Admit Card Important Instructions are as follows:

• Check details carefully, like name, photo and centre.
• Bring the printout of the photo ID.
• Arrive at least 1 hour early at the exam centre.
• Carry the admit card and one valid photo ID like Aadhar card, driving license, etc. at the SHIATS exam centre.

It will release few weeks before the official announcement of the exam. The SHIATS 2026 Admit card will be released in the second week of May 2026, tentatively. 

It is a mandatory document to carry in the examination hall. 

Students are advised to take a printout of their admit card as it won't be sent by email or post.

SHIATS (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology) is a government aided private university. It is a state university established by UP legislature but administered by a private Christian society which operates with university status.

It was formerly the Allahabad Agricultural Institute (AAI) and became a university in 2016.

The exam is conducted by the Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Allahabad.

Courses which are offered here is Agriculture, Engineering, Sciences, Management, Humanities, and Theology.

Candidates who have a minimum of 45 percent marks in the qualifying examination (for the general category) and 40 percent of marks (for SC/ST/differently abled) in the 10 + 2 examination are allowed to get admission in SHIATS. 

In addition to this, the candidates should at least pass the Class 12th examination with a minimum of 45%. will be eligible for admission in SHIATS and are allowed to apply for provisional admission. However, they will require documentary proof of qualification in the qualifying examination, which they would submit during counselling.

Holds a Bachelor degree from a relevant college with the same expertise for the shiats programme (PG).

Students should complete their 12th or a similar exam from a good board with the minimum required for the chosen course. 

To complete application form for SHIATS 2026 students must provide their personal and educational information to register. After candidates have received SHIATS 2026 registration credentials to provided email and/or phone number (SMS), they will have to log in to fill SHIATS 2026 application form where they will have to provide personal background information, educational background information, select an exam city location, select a course of choice & upload documents on application form. 

For the SHUATS entrance exam you must start the registration process online through universities website to pay the fees and to register. The registration process requires the admitted student to pay a fee of the programme within 48 hours and report to the university for document verification and the admission process.
