Established under the A.P. State Act No. 29 in 2006, Sri Venkateswara Vedic University (SVVU), is recognised as first University with distinct features to promote advancement and spread of Vedic wisdom. This is a state university which is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is sponsored by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
Sri Venkateswara Vedic University offers a number of specialised courses across seven faculties namely Veda Adhyayana, Veda Agamadhyana, Veda Paurohityadhyanana, Veda Vedaangas and Veda Bhashyadhyayana that further comprise 23 departments. It covers various disciplines like Science, Nutrition, Jyotisha, Religious Studies, Veda, Oriental Learning, Arts, etc.

Sri Venkateswara Vedic University Admission Process
Sri Venkateswara Vedic University admission 2020 process is conducted in both online as well as offline modes. Students are eligible to get admissions basis the following:
- Admission in all courses is based merit, good conduct or marks in previous qualifying exam, as determined by the University
- Final selection is based on students’ performance in personal interview and/or written test conducted by the University
Note: Some per cent of total seats is reserved for the children of the University employees. Other reservations are made as per the existing rules of Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Around 75% of students were placed from my course. The highest in the lowest package offered in my course is a maximum 7 lakh. Minimum 4 Lacs package average of 5.5 lakhs.
