The studies are not good here. Compared to this the Manipal University is much better in anything.

Placements: The placements in the college are still going on. Until now, many students are placed, we have to look into the future. Many companies are coming with high salary packages, but selecting only one or two students. The companies should have fewer criteria for the selections. There is a placement training available before attending the placements.

Not a review by an angry student but things is said exactly as they are.

Placements: The placements are going really weak. Very few core companies have shown interest this year, and opportunities (rare) are given on the basis of CGPA, but not on your talent. Not everyone is really getting placed here as they mention during the admission process. Most of them have to end up with IT companies. Very few students actually get a chance to sit for the core companies. Till now, i.e. 2017, for the current 4th-year batch only 2-3 core companies have visited the campus when they are alrea...

Disappointed and regretted and I think title suites for every aspect of this college.

Placements: The placement depends on CGPA and no matter how much good bond you are having with the professor. I don't know the exact percentage of students who got placed. The highest package is 14 lakhs per annum. Most the companies visited SRM are like a Hero, Renault, Sennider and electrical which is good. The roles offered to the students were not up to the mark.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the condition of the college and faculty too.

Placements: The placements are getting a bit tough this year. More than half of the students are yet unplaced comparing to previous years. We were promised on our orientation day, that we would be able to attend for more than 400 companies, but hardly people attended 30 companies this year. You won't be able to meet the requirements and skills which the companies will ask you if you go by the plans of the faculty members and the education system here. I will ask you not to follow the curriculum of the colle...

If anyone chooses SRM, try to get its main campus only otherwise try some different college.

Placements: Placements here are good. More the 1330 jobs are offered here. If anyone chooses CSE, IT, ECE as their stream, it's very unfortunate here to not get a job. The eligibilty criteria for 2018 will be CGPA more the 8.5 to sit in a maximum number of companies. SRM also gives training for different foreign languages which adds value to the resume.

Extremely dissatisfied by the faculty, infrastructure, curriculum and environment.

Placements: Until last year, the placement was 100% but this year, that seems highly unlikely. The placement is quite good and many reputed companies visit. But due to the sheer number of students, not everyone gets equal opportunities. Also, the criteria for our campus is usually higher than the main campus (Katankulatur) for exclusive companies like Amazon. Although many get a proper developer job, most are relegated to support and service. The minimum salary is 15000 per month and the average is 3 LPA. I...

Good college with average placements.

Placements: There were average placements and 70% of students were placed last year with an average package of 2.5 lakhs. Companies like TCS, CTS, Amazon and much more visited for the recruitment. Students were mostly offered with the role of Software Engineer as most of the companies belonged to the IT sector. A few core companies also visit the campus sometimes but with a limited intake of students.

Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Most of the students got placed with low salary packages. Sometimes, they force students to get placements. There was no proper training for interviews with students.

If you get opportunities in north India, then don't opt for this college for the B.Tech program.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 37 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are L&T, DLF, Appaswamy Construction Pvt Ltd, etc. A site engineer role is offered. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. They don't provide any internships.

Dissatisfied with the students as there is no eagerness to learn.

Placements: Many big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, visit our college for placement, and other details check in the official website of SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Last week TCS digital visited our campus and offered whooping 7.5 LPA package, but hardly 10 out of 300 students cleared that. Placement percentage is very low, and the average salary package is 3.25 LPA. Other than CS other branch have very minimal chance of placement. But if you're determined and hardworking, then the ...

This college is just a waste of money. If you think to join this college, do it at your own risk.

Placements: Campus placements in SRM Rammapuram are very poor. They assure students 100% placements which is not true. Every year, they give admissions to around 900 students (per course) from which around 200 got placed, and hardly 20 students get quality jobs. The faculty are very poor with knowledge. Infrastructure is the worst, and instead of all this, they are charging lots of tuition fee.
