The college is just okay.

Placements: Overall, the placements are just okay. This year, the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA. The second highest salary package offered was 17 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6.85 LPA. The salary package varies with students and their capabilities. There is a placement cell, and it will be helpful only in your final year.

The quality of education here is good.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, which was offered by Microsoft. Many MNCs like Microsoft, Google, TCS, and Wipro visit the college to conduct placements. Many eligible graduates get easily placed through interviews and exams. The placement cell provides training to students who are willing to get placements. Top MNCs visit SRM in search of talented engineers, and also offer very good salary packages.

There is a language problem most of the time.

Placements: The placements of this college cannot be said to be good. Though many big MNCs like Microsoft, Google, TCS, and Wipro visit the college for placements, the average salary package offered is very less. The placement percentage is about 100%, but it only includes the number of students who attended the placement drives rather than the number of persons who are registered for a course in the college.

The college has an average course curriculum.

Placements: Placements in the college are average. Though the placement percentage is 100%, it comprises of students who were meeting the eligibility criteria and attended the placement drives. Many MNCs like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Google, etc., visit our campus for placements. There is also a placement cell in our college that helps students.

The college is average in terms of placements.

Placements: The placements in the college are average. Companies do visit, but the rate of selection is very less. The companies that come for the placement drives are good and demand only highly skilled graduates. So for a student to get a job, he/she has to be active and creative.

I am not fully satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Many MNCs visit SRM during the placement season. MNCs such as Google, Microsoft, TCS, etc., are known to recruit the graduates of this college. Many students apply for an internship and are able to get one easily from this college.

The course curriculum followed is good.

Placements: Placements in college are good. Many companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Google, IBM, HP, etc., visit SRM for placements. There is a placement cell on the campus which helps students from their very first year in preparing to get good placements. Many students get internships from college.

The college has a good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in the college are not good. The ratio is not up to the mark, though the placement rate of the previous year is 100% considering those who were able to get into the placement drives. Many reputed companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, etc., visit the campus for placements

I'm dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements were good for our senior batch, but it could be much better for our batch. Companies recruit engineering students in stock but don't offer proper salary packages. The college doesn't give any boost to startups. Teachers have their ego problems. They only believe that what they are saying is right.

The institution is not good at all.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. Almost 90% of the students were placed in companies like Amazon, Google, CISCO, Hyundai, Dell, Shell India, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata Technologies, L&T, etc., in 2018. The highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6-7 LPA.

A genuine review of SRM University.

Placements: We have good placement options in our college. But there are no 100% placements in our campus. All the placements are done on your ability only, not by your GPA or percentage in B.Tech. Many companies come for placements, and most of them are located in Chennai. Only a few core companies visit for placements.

Overall a mediocre learning experience with a decent placement record.

Placements: Do not expect an easy placement in any company. The intake in day one sharing companies has also got down enormously in number. They may take just upto 600-700 students in each company from the overall lot of students from all the SRM campuses. Remaining companies prefer more of sales posts to be filled rather than offering with technical jobs. If you are interested in such management jobs then it would leave you with many companies to attend for placement drive. For a technical job aspirant the...

Don't take admission in SRM.

Placements: The placements are good if you are in computer science stream, electronic and communication. If you do not belong to these streams then you should think before you come here. The average package for computer science student is 2.5 LPA-3 lakhs per annum and 2-2.5 LPA for ECE students.

Infrastructure is not good, and faculty members are not good in a particular domain.

Placements: There are only rumours about 100% placements. In the senior batch approximately only 89% of students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 13,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 2,750 per month. Till now, only 4 students got internships. Companies that visited for placements are Infosys, Cisco, TCS, Cognizant, etc.

Good placement upto 2016 only and not in 2018, bad infrastructure, very few qualified faculties.

Placements: The placements this year wasn't good enough as compared to previous years. SRM is supposed to be high on placement but this year the placements was very poor. Companies like TCS, CTS, WIPRO, INFOSYS used to come every year and they used to recruit atleast 1500 candidate each. But this year only TCS and INFOSYS visited the campus and took only 500 candidates combined. WIPRO and CTS did visit the campus as well but they didn't allow all the branches to participate. As per the core company is conce...

The placements are good in my college, in 2015.

Placements: The placements are good for CSE, ECE, IT, EEE branches students and other students are too many problems regarding placements. In my point of view, 15-20 percent will get the internship from college. Rs. 10,000-Rs. 15,000 will be offered as a stipend for an internship, and the lowest amount is Rs. 10,000. The placement cell is there, but in my point of view, it can't be helpful.

Seeing everything, I suggest you not to choose SRM Ramapuram as is not value for money.

Placements: The placements in our college are not as they show on the website, but not bad too. According to the fee, the placement is not up to the mark. You have to think if it's really worth paying huge money and getting a low salary after placement.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of facilities.

Placements: In my batch, the placement was not so good. Nowadays, many companies are visiting our campus. The placement is not good. There is the highest package is 10 lacs and minimum is 1.80 Lacs. There are many companies is visiting in our campus but they are providing very less package.

Superb student community, mediocre facilities, decent infrastructure, bad placements in 2018.

Placements: The placements in my final year are around 40% of the people who appeared for campus placements, and I would say that it's a bad year compared to previous years. Most of the companies aren't the core ones, and they look to hire people in sales and marketing positions. I would say that SRM is no longer a strong player when it comes to placements.
