Absolutely dissatisfied because of infrastructure.

Placements: The placements here are average. The core companies give good placements, but, the placements are not justified and also not value for money. As we all know it entirely depends on how much effort you put in. The teachers here are good and friendly. They help you in every possible way.

The truth of SRM, which is India's the best private university.

Placements: Our senior's batch placements were average and not that good, but when it comes to our batch, hardly 5-7 core companies came and offered some five placements on an average to some 1,500 (mechanical students all over SRM) and 1,200 (automobile students in all SRM campuses). I got a three months useless unpaid internship in Apollo tyres in the marketing field in the name of core company. They cheated 50 students in the name of 'job after internship', but that didn't happen. SRM is not the place if...

The review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: The placements on the campus are not at all up to the mark. This year, the placements have been the worst. Only one or two core companies have visited the campus, and the rest are either IT or sales company. Even the placement authority of the institute is forcing the students to apply for the sales.

Dissatisfied with the faculty members, but the placements are good.

Placements: If you need the placement, you can go to this college, and the placements are good over here. During my time, MNCs like Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Scope international, Mu Sigma, etc., visited the campus for the students. In my batch, around 70% got placed. A few companies are called for the internships.

SRM Ramapuram, a shattered dream.

Placements: As the name goes by the tag SRM, it does provide ample opportunities for the students studying in the campus. However, at certain times, you do feel that the main campus is given more priority over the side branch that is Ramapuram. In recent years, the college has just accumulated students in hope for adding to their own funds. However, they even ask other students that the college is certainly not fit physically and mentally for such a huge amount of students. As long as you look for a placeme...

Disappointed as there are no extracurricular activities and only studies with too many rules.

Placements: Usually, the placements are done in IT companies for all opted courses. However, the students in the main campus (KTR) are given more priority. They do a lot of mock placement test without any use. They do conduct test so that I will improve the caliber of students. The college is strict and follows army like rules that you have to follow otherwise for every small issue they will call your parents and tell them to come. They will always try to cut your attendance and find a reason as detained st...

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and maintenance of lifts.

Placements: My super senior batch had good placement, and they are well placed. They had no trouble in getting placed, but the current batch students are struggling to get placed, and they aren't just eligible, but the companies which are coming are highly demanded, and they limit to less number in recruiting students.

Dissatisfied with the campus maintenance.

Placements: In 2017-2018 batch, the placements are little bit decreased compare to the past two years. This time Cisco took 5 people in Ramapuram campus with the highest package of 17 LPA. The bulk companies like TCS and Infosys take nearly 450 people in Ramapuram campus from all branches.

Nightmare come true and worst SRM campus.

Placements: The placements here are not at it's best, still average. Good grades and curricula will get you through placements, but placements in core companies is still a dream here. The placement training provided here is awesome and can get you through anything. Almost 50-60% students get placed every year.

Decent placements, but poor campus facilities.

Placements: The placements are still going on for my batch. By December, more than half of the students in CSE branch would be placed, and the rest will probably get placed soon. But placements for other branches is not going very well. So far, Cisco has offered the highest salary which is around 13 lakhs per annum. Mostly, the companies offer the roles of a software engineer, but there are a lot of other positions such as business analyst, design engineer, etc. Day-sharing companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipr...

It is an average college overall

Placements: I think the placement scenario is going down every year. Every year, the number of companies visiting is getting lower. The students are not getting on-campus placements. They are trying for off-campus placements. The university should provide with entrepreneurship facilities for the students rather than college interviews.

Think before you take admission

Placements: Placements are good. But the average package is 3-4 lakhs only. The highest package was 21 lakhs but maximum students got packages around 3-4 lakhs. Most of the companies coming here are only mass recruiters but the placements are good. No 100% placements as they advertise. But if you want only placements, this college is good on that thing.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure. Roads and drainage system are terrible in condition.

Placements: As I am in 3rd year of my course, I've never been in placements so far, but I've seen many of my seniors getting placed equally with other campuses of our university. Approximately, the placement percentage is around 70 to 80 so far. Year-by-year there is a slight deviation in the placement percentage. But, if one can get 7 GPA, they have much better chances to get placed in the well known company.

Srm Ramapuram, a decent college.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were average. The core companies recruited very few students. Most of the students were placed in Wipro, TCS, Cognizant. Around 47% of the students were placed. The highest salary was around 8.5 lakhs per annum. The college does provide internship interviews with various mechanical companies, but hardly any few gets selected. The stipend is around Rs. 6000 per month.

The university is good with a basic level of education and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements become very tough this year compared to the previous years. The highest package was 13.7 lakhs per annum. The bulk recruiters took a few students this year. Around 70% of the students from our department (CSE) has been placed with an average package of 3 lakhs per annum. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant are the primary recruiters. A few students were given internship based on their talent.

Overall, you will get to enjoy your college life but not in the college, but with friends.

Placements: The placements of this campus are said to be 100%, but in reality, it is not even 70%. Everyone didn't get placed. And those who are placed get the job in an IT companies. Only a few get the offer from core companies. Moreover, the package in core companies for freshers is around about 4 lakhs per annum, f you are very lucky.

Best to get a place in IT, else not worth the money.

Placements: Placements are good, especially for IT jobs (100% placement for IT jobs for CSE, ECE, EEE and mechanical, they are even allowing civil also now). We have mass placement drives where companies like TCS which recruited more than 1300 students and similarly, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Capgemini recruit in high numbers. The placement happens for all the campuses together. If you talk about core jobs, companies come but they are very few.

Faculty and infrastructure are really poor. Totally illogical rules and very strict.

Placements: The placements are good, sometimes a 100% is guaranteed. Major IT biggies like TCS, CTS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE recruit a large number of freshers. Core companies such as Amazon, Ashok Leyland, MuSigma, Anand group recruit mechanical engineers. Amazon, of course, recruits cream layers, so better maintain a bigger CGPA. Last year, a senior was offered a package of 12L/annum, the highest in the last 2 years. Internships for final year students are offered only based on either strong recommend...

It is just a brand now. The education, campus, faculty are average.

Placements: The recent placements were decent. Most of the students were placed in IT companies. The highest package for mechanical was 12 lakhs (not sure). TCS, Wipro, Infosys, CTS, etc. are certain companies visiting the campus. L&T also visits, but recruits only 1 student from any one department. The college does not provide any internship.

Academically focussed college with good placements.

Placements: The placement in this campus is average as it is centralized. Most of the students generally get a package of around 3 to 6.5 lakhs; which are mostly being offered by IT companies. The core companies recruit only a few students. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant are the major recruiters. Internships are generally done by very few students as the college management forces you to go for projects rather than internships.
