Placements: The placements for our senior batch were very poor. The students participated in huge numbers, but not everyone was selected, here in SRM you are supposed to maintain a minimum of 6.0 CGPA to get placed. But here, there are around 8-10k students ( including NCR, Vadapalani. and Ramapuram campuses). But only around 5k get placed. It is a known fact that out of those, around 4.5k would get placed in IT companies. Top companies like Deshaw, Amazon, etc. do visit the campus but only creme le da crem...

Placements: Placement is like thin air. Only marketing people get placed. Placement coordinator was not consulted about other streams. Even if one candidate gets placed through his source, the coordinator will show that on his record as he has done that good job. They are least concerned about their students. Many teachers have sources outside but they only help those who are nice to them.

Placements: Placements included several companies coming to our college like CTZ, Wipro, TCS, Siemens, Capgemini etc. But as compared to previous years, this year has seen a remarkable drop in the number of students placed. As the number of students taking admission keeps increasing due to no criteria of selection (not to forget the full on donation taking place) the placement has just got down to the worst case.

Placements: A wide range of companies visit the college, varying from pure technical core companies to non-technical, for various roles and profiles, but major placements are in IT. The pay scale is not very good. It is similar to what an average person gets after completing his engineering graduation. The placements depend upon the students. Some might have 3 job offers in hand and some remain unplaced. And the college, just to maintain its reputation, averages outs those offers. So the tag of 100% placeme...

Placements: Well, in SRM, the companies start coming from July itself. For our batch, Amazon was the first company that came for the recruitment and took nearly about 14 students in total. Then Cisco was next and so on. By next 4 months, almost everyone got placed. Most of them were placed in mass recruiters. But in SRM even if you are average you can expect yourself to get placed in a good core company. Placements: Placements in SRM are good. If you maintain above 7 CGPA with some good projects, you will definitely get placed in some or the other IT company. But for core, you need to have those extra skills and knowledge. Getting into core company from SRM university is a bit difficult. Highest salary - 25 LPA, average salary 3 LPA and the lowest salary is – 2 LPA (not sure). Most of the IT companies in India visited SRM. Placements: Some 40% were said to have been given placements; depending on their expertise, some were given very favorable roles in large companies. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. The top roles offered were human resources associate, financial analyst, and management intern.

Placements: Placement percentage is very good but average package is a bit low. Every student with no backlogs get placed but packages depend on student’s capabilities. Especially in computer science, the placements are very good. I refer SRM University for CSE.

Placements: Students with keen interest and dedication surely do get placed. Apart from that, placements are open to everyone and most students will get placed in some company or the other. The college will try to set you up in any work field or with a PG.

Placements: There are no good placements done in the college. The average package is way less than what they show in an advertisement. I recommend going off-campus for the placements.

Placements: Rs 44 lacs is the highest package offered here. Many companies, from 200 to 250, come to pick from mass recruiters, and good companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, Samsung, Acer, and many others usually come for campus placement. Many startups also come to recruit students. Mass recruiters like TCS and all also come for campus placemnet.

Placements: Our college arranges interviews only in IT companies. Our college is expensive for financially middle-class students but worth for financially high middle-class students. There are friendly staff members. Students get placed in top corporate companies, and our college arranges aptitude classes. It is a well-maintained campus

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. Just sale companies visit our college to recruit automobile and mechanical students. Though the salary package offered by them is quite good and they could be good for starting our career. Internships provided by the college are quite decent, and they provide very good knowledge of the industries.

Placements: 70% of the students from my course are placed as far as I know. The highest package was around INR 41.2 LPA, Microsoft. But, it was an off-campus placement and not provided by the placement cell. The lowest was around INR 2 LPA I think. Placements: Most people get INR 3.5 LPA if you are in the computer. You get better offers. Average is INR 5 Lacs. A mix of companies come, most of them hire SDE, SRE, QA engineer and some hire for sales role like BDA, BOA etc. Top recruiter for CS dept are amazon PayPal, but they hire interns and conversion is dependent on performance .

Placements: On an average, almost all good private universities claim a 100% placement guarantee, even though those placements are not worth anything, SRM's claims are only for an 80% placement, and for the faculty of electrical engineering, the placements are pretty average.
