Our college campus is good to explore, but the campus crowd is bad.

Placements: Our college has very decent placement opportunities. People say that the placement is bad, as the strength is high with a lower number of good offers. It looks bad. But the quality of those few offers is good. You need to stand out from that useless crowd to grab a decent offer.

SRM University Kattankulathur is worth only if you are financially rich.

Placements: Most of the students get placements from here. But only a few students will get good salary packages out of thousands of students. Our college is better compared to other colleges. The highest salary package offered is 38 LPA, but only less than five students get it out of some thousands of students. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Most of the top companies visit SRM.

I am dissatisfied, and it has the worst ROU.

Placements: Roles were mainly offered by mass companies like TCS and Infosys for software developers. During our passing year, there were lots of things like Jayalalithaa died, and cyclone came. Still, our college didn't compensate for this situation and provided more placement opportunities. At last, some companies came.

Absolutely the worst college SRM KTR.

Placements: Almost 10% of the students are placed with an excellent placement that a student should get but the rest of the students who are not that good are not having that good placement and suffer. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro which take students in bulk with low packages. Top roles offered are as a simple job profile and not a high post.

I am absolutely dissatisfied due to teachers, decorum and environment of the college.

Placements: About 60% of the students attended placements, and out of them, maybe 45% of the students got placed. The salary package offered to some students was above 12 LPA, while for some other students got 6-9 LPA. Some students got a salary package of less than 3 LPA. For our course, L&T visited for placements. Out of 800 students who attended for placements 2 students were selected.

Not recommended to anyone thanks to faculty and environment.

Placements: Since aerospace engineering is more of a research-based field, there aren't many companies who recruit students at Bachelor's level. And SRMIST Chennai is anyways incapable of attracting attractive companies for recruitment of its students and ultimately students are forced to choose from companies from CS and civil branch. Placement cell of SRMIST is incapable of living up to its duties and a majority of students are left unplaced at the end of the placement session. Salary starts from 3 LPA an...

Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST).

Placements: In my batch, only around 15-20 students got placed, and most of them were placed in sales and teaching firms like Byju's. I got placed in Extra Marks, and 1-2 students got placed in software companies while only 2 students got placed only in the automobile company, which visited the campus. The placement cell is very poor as until now I haven't got any letter from it regarding my placement, but I got to know that through my friends of the mechanical branch.

SRM University (now SRM institute of Science and technology) was a bitter sweet experience.

Placements: Placements were conducted well for our batch. The highest salary I have heard of is 6 Lacs per annum. Most of the mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and others had showed up. Internship were offered by Cisco and a negligible percentage of students secured a spot.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of facilities and poor placements in 2019.

Placements: Placements in SRM for IT and CSE branches are pretty good, but it's really bad for mechanical. In core, only around 5-10% of total students are getting placed and around another 10% are getting placed in other fields such as IT, analyst and business startups. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA, and it was offered by Bajaj. But the thing was that it conducted the exam for more than 600 students and hired only 3 students in the end. The average salary package offered to a mechanic...

It is the worst college in India. I wasted my 4 years here at SRM VDP.

Placements: Placements for our batch were average. Many students got placed in the campus drives, but the companies treat SRM like the worst colleges. They think that the students of SRM don't have proper knowledge and don't get good CGPA which is true. I also got placed in campus drive, and then I came to know where the college stands in the choice of the companies.

The review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Most of the students in the college get placed in mass recruiters whereas only a few of them get placed in dream companies. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro offered a salary package of around 3 LPA. Very few students are offered a salary package of 6-10 LPA. Placement cell is not working hard. Since the CGPA system is poor here, a few deserving students won't make it to the placements. Studious students get placed, but they will be fired from the companies very soon as they only have booki...

It is not a good college for students who want to pursue BBA.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Good and reputed core companies visit the campus to offer placements. I'm still in 2nd year, so I don't have much information about placements. Salary packages offered by the companies are good. Managerial roles are offered to students. The college does not provide internships, and every student has to find one on their own.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements in the college are not at all good. In fact, only about 70% of the students get placed, among which, almost 30% are selected by mass recruiters. So the placement scenario is really bad here. I wouldn't recommend anyone to join SRM College because studies are also not up to the mark. Even partiality is observed during the placements.

Dissatisfied with the college. I'm not very happy with the course and their way of teaching.

Placements: Placements in our college for the biotech department are poor. Only one or two companies visit the college to hire the students. Mostly IT companies visit the college, but they are not interested in hiring many students. This college has nothing to do with the career of students as they just want money. They have charged Rs. 6,000 and not even bother to bring companies related to our department. Getting into this college was the worst decision that I have ever taken in my life.

A college which is made to look good from outside but actually isn't.

Placements: Good. It is decent. Average for this brand is around 3.5-4 Lacs. Which is very basic. Noo package is higher than 7 Lacs. Which is very poor for this kind of institution. Around 80-90% are placed. Which can be improved. Basic companies come for placement like Burger, Asian paints, Nippon etc.

Dissatisfied by our college- SRM University.

Placements: I have no idea about the placements in core companies. No one is looking for quality education. Everyone needs the quantity. Our college does not even help in getting the internship. If you somehow get the job, they won't give you attendance for the missing classes. Everything should be done on our own.

Placements: Placements were good. Companies like Amazon, Johnson Controls, TCS Wipro and Infosys Took the majority of the students. Almost all students were placed. Approximately 85%. The highest package was 18 LPA and average was 4LPA Internship and Job offers were offered.

Never judge a book by its cover and never judge a college based on its advertisement.

Placements: The placements are poor in SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Mainly, the IT companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are the mass recruiters taking most of the students at the minimal salary package. A few got placed in the core companies with the below average salary package.

The college is not worth the money mainly because of the over crowd and the average faculty.

Placements: Here, the placements are not great. Mainly, the placements are given by the mass recruiters. The average package is around 3 to 4 LPA, and the highest package was once around 30 LPA that too from a Japnese company but mainly the package is from 3 to 7 LPA. The majority are selected in the mass recruiters, and around 5% of the students got selected in the core companies. But, the placements are just average considering the number of students and their placement. There is a placement cell.

Dissatisfied with the college fees they charge and the faculty they provide.

Placements: The placements are good. Many students attend for the placement, and some go for higher studies. Many companies come to this college, and the interesting thing is core company comes and picks up less than 5 or sometimes till 10 people. This college provides no internship. The worst part is we have to look out for it.
