I am satisfied with my college, and it depends upon the person to take advantage of this university.
Placements: There are no placements in this college, but we can get chance to do internships in various institutes such as NGRI Hyderabad, IIG Mumbai, and ISR Ahmadabad. My seniors got jobs in various institutes. Currently, two students are working as project fellows in Institute of Seismological Research Gujarat and others are seeking to get PhD from IITs and other institutes.
Infrastructure: University provided Wi-Fi user ID and password to each student, but some unnecessary websites such as Facebook is not able to run on Wi-Fi. The central library is present, and most of the reference books are available. For sports, both indoor and outdoor types of grounds are available. The required instruments are present in the lab, and they are in working positions for users. The hostel is separate for both boys and girls. There will be no problem for those who cook by themselves. Otherwise, a mess is available.
Faculty: The syllabus and schedule of two years of M.Sc. course are good but were not so far completed. The faculty are experienced. They do not teach the syllabus directly, but they will show the path to approach it. Currently, the positions of teachers are not filled, and the student population is also low. Suppose there are 10 seats for students in one year, the students present are only 8. We are not getting any jobs directly in any industry, but for a person putting efforts, jobs are available based on their own talent. Currently, the university students are working in various institutes such as Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) Gujarat.
Other: In the whole first year, lots of curriculum activities are carried out. Our schools have joined American Institute of Professional Geologist (AIPG) student chapter, which is the first university to join outside of America.
