It has good infrastructure and facilities, but it lacks permanent faculty members.

Placements: The percentage of placements is about 5%. Those who are posted as Assistant Professors are getting nearly 9 LPA to 10 LPA, and those who get jobs in different companies are getting about 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The top recruiting company is Verac, but they only recruit students from the Photonics specialisation.

Infrastructure: The food available is not of good quality. There are no medical facilities except that so-called first aid box with only Dettol and bandages. Some sports equipment is available, like volleyballs and cricket bats. The infrastructure of the department is the best. Labs and classrooms are also well-equipped. A Wi-Fi facility is available, and the library is also good.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and extremely knowledgeable, with excellent teaching quality. The course is curriculum-related. It makes students industry-ready. It is not that difficult to pass a semester exam. The minimum percentage required for passing is 40%.

Other: There are too many events to enjoy. These include hostel days, gatherings, annual functions, fresher's party, farewell party, inter-departmental competitions, etc.
