It is the best agricultural college in India .

Placements: An average number of students were placed with an average salary offered as Rs.15000 - Rs.20000 per month. Banks seed companies and fertilizer companies recruited students from our course. Roles offered in these companies were field officers, marketing executives, supervisors, cane officers, marketing officers, and chemical officers.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: No campus recruitment and didn't have big career opportunities. Nutritionist and Dietician are the only opportunities for this course. Average package was 13000/ month. Not eligible for attending any food safety officer exams. Food industries provide internship for this course.

It provides a good infrastructure for UG education.

Placements: Our college focuses more on preparing students for post-graduation and not for placements after UG. Only some staff members will help students for placements, but the college will not help students. For UG education, this campus is a good choice, and a lot can be learned in the field of food science and technology.

It provides good teachers and infrastructure but not satisfied because of laboratories and semester.

Placements: From our seniors, one-third get placed in good companies. Some pursue higher education. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA as a fresher. Companies like Tata, John Deere, and Ashirvad recruit students from the course. Students can be placed as a trainee, field officers, or directly as agricultural engineer in top companies and even in government sectors.

If you are interested in forestry, then I suggest choosing this college.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. Still, you can prepare for government examinations such as civil services or state public services. For this exam, professors here motivate you all the time. If you want any jobs, then you should go out and search.

It is the best university in India for studying agricultural entomology.

Placements: General campus interviews are conducted with reasonable salary package. Mostly, based on our knowledge, we may select in multinational companies, Indian pesticide companies, private banks, fertiliser companies, coaching academies, etc. We can also write government exams.

Review of TNAU - Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.

Placements: We got some placements from our batch and we had also tried ourselves for our jobs. The highest salary offered was Rs. 60,000 per month, by ITC. The role offered was as an associate manager. But the alumni of TNAU are in great positions everywhere and ever. This is going to be a good brand and benchmark for all the other universities.

Reputed University, highly qualified lecturers, amazing infrastructure, placement could be improved.

Placements: Placements are disappointing. There is no assured placement in the college. That is shocking as a fact that it is one of the top agricultural colleges in India. More PAN Companies could b called up for placements. Companies which were called weren't willing to pay more than 15,000 rs, which is disrespectful to the professional degree.

Placements: Our course focuses on the major problems in the world, i.e., energy and the environment. Our college doesn't organise any placement opportunities. However, the college provides excellent opportunities for internships in companies. Internships are done for three months in the final year, i.e., 8th semester.

Absolutely satisfied with teaching and training sessions that are conducted for future education.

Placements: I opted for PG studies after my undergraduate. Now I'm doing PGDM-ABM in Hyderabad in one of the reputed institutes of the country. My Undergraduate degree was very helpful, and the university I chose was best for those who want to pursue graduation in agriculture. As far as I know, the highest package that my classmates received till date is Rs. 30,000 per month. I would like to suggest the students who want to pursue this degree is to try to stay in this stream.

The college provides good infrastructure and learning. It lags in providing placements.

Placements: It is the area where the college lags. There used to be good placements opportunities, especially from banking sectors in the past few years. But after 2014, placements of the college are reduced. For B.Sc. agriculture group, placements are fairly good, but when coming to courses like biotechnology and bioinformatics, there are very fewer placements.

Placements: Reliance fresh, Tamarai Landscapes, Pazhamudhir Nilayam, etc., came for placements. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000, and the highest salary offered is Rs. 18,000, mostly offered by oreCuluture. 40% of the internships offered are unpaid ones. Placements: This is a great university with a good amount of placements from various companies like Jain Irrigation Pvt Limited, Tata Agri Services Limited, HDFC Bank, and Rashi Seeds. Other private companies select the individuals from the college. Some tea estates, coffee estates and other plantation crop companies also approach for graduates.
