It was a semester-based exam system.
Placements: For my course, Masters in Environmental Studies, a student is eligible for campus placement after 3 semesters, where the fourth semester is completely an internship, and sometimes students get jobs at places they can explore on their own. Companies related to safety and sustainability research offer internships. 95% of students get internships and employment; in history, all the students got the job.
Infrastructure: All the hostels are furnished with normal-sized, non-AC double rooms. Each student is provided with a B.Ed. chair, table, and wardrobe. There are facilities like washing machines in some hostels. The mess is run by the students. In the hostel, the meal quality is adequate, but the menu fluctuates depending on the student who runs it. The food is cooked according to standard hygiene, and it is family-provided. Hostels are assigned to all students at the time of admission. There are no extra hidden costs other than hostel admission and mess fees. There are numerous PGS and rooms outside the campus. The locality is loving and homely, as it is not completely urban.
Faculty: I chose this course because it has never-ending opportunities. Faculty members are extremely helpful and friendly. They solve every doubt, and they are very trained and always updated. They cover not just the syllabus but also other life skills and help us improve our CV. They use creative methods to teach, like activities, videos, and games. We also had yoga sessions during the pandemic, which had a bad impact on our mental health. Exams are not based on how much you remember. They are based on how you solve a problem. We have internal and theoretical papers. Practicals are graded immediately after and have continuous assessment, which makes you ready for all types of work. Students from Tezpur University get so industrially ready that we can handle every solution easily, trust me. I was an introvert and had no skills, but Tezpur University improved me. Class size:-40 Course fees: INR 40000 per year.

University has good infrastructure and natural environment.
Placements: There was only one ngo came for the placement, Pradhan, but no student was selected in the year 2017. There is a placement cell for the Dept but its not well utilized. No company placement came during that period. As per the placement information only tow students were selected in interview so far.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi, Labs, Classroom, Library etc. Were well established but the opportunities for medical and sports were not as satisfactory in the campus. The quality of Labs and classroom was good enough but the utilization was lacking behind. Hostel was better.
Faculty: Teachers were good enough but there was some kind of gap between teachers and the students due to which students could not learned as per their expectations. As per my experience there was lacking of quality of teaching rather most of teachers were in the mood of finishing the course. The ratio was good enough.
Other: There was many events which was organized by students like Techxetra, Inscignis, etc. Campus surrounding was beautiful, scholarship was in-consistent, only 1st year scholarship for ST and SC was provided for the students.

Tezpur University does not set any cutoff score for admissions. Seats are based on the entrance exam they conduct called TUEE ( Tezpur University Entrance Exam). Try scoring say 30/60 takes Rank 1.
