According to, the university used to conduct entrance exams, but now candidates can get direct admission by scoring 50 percent or 60 percent in their +2 or Undergraduate. The admission process for the undergraduate courses and Bachelor of Technology includes the TNU Aptitude Test conducted by the university followed by counseling.
