5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The best college for M.A. in Social Work (Children & Families) Course.
Placements: 95% of students were placed; few chose to do additional courses and explore their speed. Rs 30,000-RRs 60,000, depending on the skills learned and the strong CV one can build. Our alumni have been in CRY, SOS villages, UNICEF-related projects, and various CSR-related organizations. Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Coordinator, Field Worker, Child and Family Counselor, Legal Advise, etc. are the top roles offered. 25k is the lowest, and 55 or 65k will be the highest package depending on the resume. TISS has a large network where it has spread across India during this pandemic.
Infrastructure: Students are trained to respond to all aspects, such as social, political, emotional, educational, and environmental issues. On campus, students enjoy the annual festival called QUINTESSENCE. They provide research materials, books, and comics from the library. There are a total of 10 residences on campus. It is exciting to see Bollywood stars around, as many big stars' houses are visible from the campus.
Faculty: The course curriculum is highly relevant to the industry standards, making us industry-ready. I miss my university days because of the support of our teachers, whose lectures were the best and always aimed at our development. All the teachers are highly educated and masters of their subjects. Exams are taken semester by semester, and the pass percentage is 65% for written exams and internships.

Most beautiful place in Mumbai.
Placements: I feel that we do not need industry jobs; our main aim is the management of water, storage, and supply. But college gives us opportunities to work with NGO and government bodies like Gram Vikas, Zila Parishad, and Tata Trust on dams. Some government bodies pay us a stipend, and some hire us. We do not work for money, but we can say it is nearly around 4 lacs per year as a fresher.
Infrastructure: College is located in a key area, and the infrastructure of the college is adorable. We have a digital library, a computer lab, a laboratory, a physical library, and a and a function hall on campus. For boys on campus, we have 3 hostels: Hatigaon, Rudhlipath for boys, and Shantipur for girls. In hostels, we get computers, Wi-Fi, food, a gym, ground facilities.
Faculty: College professors are top-class; everyone is working for society. Willing to give something for society they are kind, intelligent and supportive. Many run NGO work for public welfare. Curriculum are easy 2 years, 4 semesters, many exams but general situation-based questions asked in paper. Anyone with basic knowledge can clear subjects.
Other: I like college, and TATA as a brand is the biggest reason for choosing this college.
