Being an IMCAian at Utkal university.
Placements: Students must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 50. The highest package for our course is around 7 LPA in 2023 and the average package is around 3 LPA. Wipro, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, etc. are the top recruiting companies. Around 50% students got internship from our course in various MNCs like Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, etc. Software developers, data analysts, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: For IMCA, we have a separate department within the university campus. In every classroom, there is AC, fans, projectors, comfortable benches, library, computer lab for every year, Wi-Fi, freezer for purified water, etc. The quality of IMCA hostels is quite good, but there are limited seats in the hostel. Mess is provided in the hostel at an affordable price but you have to deal with the quality of the food. First aid is always available in the hostel office and sports and games are always organised in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and helpful; they help us with academic as well as personal problems. The teachers in the IMCA department are very knowledgeable and kind-hearted. The teaching quality is super awesome. Yes, the course is quite relevant because it helps us in our campus placement and also helps us deal with many problems where we can handle pressure on our own. It helps students in the corporate sector.
Other: It is a dual-degree course and a very underrated course; it has the same value as B.Tech. The best thing about the course is that the people, like our seniors, juniors, faculty members, and staff, all together are called the IMCA family. We help each other grow in our lives. The only lack, I feel, is on-campus placement. Though it's a very good course, it's very underrated, so the companies avoid coming to the college, but when it comes to off-campus placement, they hire us immediately. - Every year, events and fests are organized in our department, like many Hindu fests, teach fests, freshers parties, farewell parties, and many other functions celebrated in our IMCA department. The campus is green, which makes the mood very light and energetic. Scholarships are provided to every student who belongs to SC/ST, EWS, PWD or whose family income is less then 3 LPA you can check for further details on state scholarship portals. Many indoor as well as outdoor games are organized in the department like PUBG, free-fire, cricket, badminton, etc.

Being proud to be a student in one of the best college in Odisha.
Placements: Total number of students in our course is 60. Our course offers a 2 - 6 LPA package. Our course provides companies like Deloitte, and also offers banks like Axis Bank, Federal Bank. Many students got jobs in higher companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our department are very good. Provides computer lab, classrooms, library, staff rooms, offices. Wi-Fi is available 24/7 in our department and also other respective departments. Hostel food is also good and the price is affordable, Wi-Fi is also available.
Faculty: The teachers and the faculty in our department provide better teaching and it's helpful to the students for the future. The semester exam is not that much difficult, but average. Our department provides a library to study. Our department teachers are very much knowledgeable.
Other: It is a dual degree course providing both Bachelor degree and master degree.

Overall a good course with good teachers.
Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. Only two to three companies like Deloitte, TCS, and Infosys come every year. Sometimes no placements. You have to give their exams and then you'll be called for interviews. The companies notify the department about their placement offer.
Infrastructure: Department is good but very far from the main GATE. It has a Wi-Fi system also and overall it's good. The nature around the Department is good. Hostel will be allotted to you based on distance and merit, so come fully prepared and if you have a vehicle, come in it.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly to you. Course Curriculum is good and teaches you the basics of everything little bit. You'll learn many languages like C, C+ etc. Semester exams are easy to crack. Study 2 weeks before the exams and you're good to go.
Other: Events and Fests are a plus. The Annual Function and Farewell are very enjoyable.

Proud being student of one of the best college in Odisha.
Placements: The placement in this college is average. The placement lies between the range of 3-6 LPA package. Includes companies like Deloitte, Infosys, and TCS also includes several banks like Axis Bank and Federal Banks. Overall, the placements are average in terms of package and number of students placed.
Infrastructure: In our college, there is unlimited Wi-Fi supply within the hostel campus and throughout the respective departments. Overall, the campus is good, having 400 acres of land, gym facilities, auditoriums, and a stadium inside the campus for both indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are well-educated from prestigious colleges and are highly qualified professors. They teach both practical as well as theoretical aspects of real-world knowledge. They train the students to do well to face and crack interviews at the first chance.
Other: Dual degree course having both BCA and MCA degrees.

It offers a good learning experience.
Placements: On-campus placement is not there but a placement council is there that supports the student to get a job (off-campus) in companies like TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, and Infosys through guidance. Talking to the numbers of placed students it is most probably 30-40 of our 60 students batch who get placed this year. The highest package is 3.8 LPA in Deloitte and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA in Cognizant. The recruiting companies are TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, and Infosys. There is no internship programme until now in this course. Roles offered from companies are Associate Analyst, Programmer Trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all the time, the classrooms have projectors Practical labs have ACs and in libraries, all books are updated. Hostel facilities are good, but canteen facility is not available right now but in future, it may be available, I hope so. On the campus, there is also a medical office. There are many sports organized every year like cricket championship, football, badminton and there is a badminton court, and a large playground available here.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and highly skilled, and they are very helpful in nature. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is 60-70% relevant to the industry but if you want to get a job then you have to learn by yourself a lot. Semester exams are moderate and the pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides a BCA+MCA degree in 5 years at a low cost and it is the best thing about it. I wish the placement council of Utkal University would bring companies for on-campus drives as soon as possible. A lot of amazing events happen here like the welcome ceremony, annual function tech-fest, farewell, sports competitions, and many more. Connectivity with faculty members, seniors, and juniors is very good, scholarship is also there.
