Placements: The placements were pretty good this season. The maximum package offered was 24.5 lakhs by DE Shaw. Along with it, PayPal also offered 14 lakhs per annum. IT companies who came for mass recruitment recruited almost 70% of the graduates which is a greater mark as compared with other big universities in the city.
Placements: The placement of my senior batch is still going on. Since i am from the mechanical background and I am going to sit for the placements next year, I am interested in what is happening in the placements this year. Till now dream companies of electrical and electronics branches have come. Currently, the placements for TCS, Infosys, and other IT companies are going on. Dream companies want high grades and technical skills. IT companies too have raised the bar for the selection. The placement this ye...
Placements: There was 100% placement for our batch. There are numerous companies that visited the campus during the placement season be it Google, Microsoft, De Shaw, Flipkart or mass recruiters like Accenture, Wipro and Cognizant. The average package of our batch was 5-6 lakhs per annum, 12-15 lakhs per annum being the highest.
Placements: The placements are good. This year, Amazon took 3-4 students from the ECE branch for 26 lakhs per annum. Others were offered a minimum of 20 lakhs. It mostly depends on the in-depth knowledge and performance of the students in the placement exams conducted by the companies. The companies want students with expertise in their branches. In addition to this, coding is mandatory for the students to get good placements. Not just this branch but all other branch students were also placed in the dream...
Placements: Fiat, Escorts, Titan, Ford, SKF, Futures First, etc. took my seniors last year. Honda took 1 student from both Vellore and Chennai campuses. The core placements ratio is very less. Also, most of the companies like TVS take students who are 9 pointers, and Bosche takes the students who are 9 or 9.5. Again, placements are easy but getting a dream company is difficult here.
Placements: Placement training and opportunities for campus selection are plentiful and the process of placement is encouraging, experience generating and helpful in creating a better personality for the professional years. There is a high scope of getting placed. If not under dream companies, some employment of decent package is an assured thing at VIT.
Placements: Placements were pretty good with almost everyone getting placed in more than one company. The highest package would be Rs. 21 lpa offered to computer science students. 40-50% students got internships. The roles offered include various types of entry level jobs in software and core technologies.
Placements: The placement season is very good at VIT. All the top MNCs come to recruit such as Amazon, Paypal, DeShaw, CodeNation, Directi, Cisco, SAP Labs, HP, DELL, Tapzo, Morgan-Stanley and much more. It is believed that if you are from IT and CSE departments, then you might be getting placed in the first 2 months of the placement season. The placement season starts from Mid July and continues until May. The companies are divided into 3 categories- mass, dream (5-10 LPA) and super dream (>10 LPA). Studen...
Placements: Placements are very good. In the final year, we have every company for placement. The students who didn't have a backlog got a job. The highest package was Rs. 16 LPA and the lowest was Rs. 3.5 LPA. Most of the students got international internship programme. The average stipend is around Rs. 18k pm. Most of the MNCs visited every day throughout our final year.
Placements: As I am in the final year right now, placements are good so far. There are plenty of opportunities for the CSE branch and ECE branch students. As most of the companies which visit our campus are software-based. The average number of companies visit our campus is 2-3. As per the trend, I prefer anyone to join CSE and any other CSE-related branch with some specifications.
Placements: There was 100% placement for my batch. Many companies like De Shaw, Flipkart, Google, Caterpillar, LinkedIn and many others visited the campus. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Wipro, CTS also came. The highest package offered was in the range of 10-15 lakh while the average package offered was 5-6 lakhs.
Placements: Placements were very good and almost 100 percent. The highest package offered was 22 lakhs and the lowest was 3.9 lakhs. Roles offered were technical roles depending upon branches like for CSE, it will be system engineer. the internship was a part of the curriculum and one had search for it himself.
Placements: The placement months saw a wide range of companies visiting the campus. Large packages were offered for computer science students and a decent package was offered to mechanical students. Infosys, Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, LnT Infotech, Honeywell, etc. were some of the companies that visited the campus. The college recorded 100% placements.
Placements: Our placements have recently started therefore I cannot say much about that, but as far as the senior batch is concerned, if you had no failing subjects (back log), then you sure could sit for placements. The highest package was around 23 LPA CTC. Lowest was 3.25 LPA. Average package was around 5-6 LPA. Companies ranged from Microsoft, Adobe to Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Cisco. All the students got placed if not in product companies, then service companies. The college makes no efforts to provide...
Placements: In VIT there is 100% placement. In mechanical, our seniors got placed in very reputed companies like (Renault, Nissan, SKF Bearing, Carrier etc). The highest salary paid was 24 lakh, which was a super dream offer from Cisco R&D. Most of the placed students were given R&D or projects to work on. Almost 80% out of those who applied from the college got internships. As it's a reputed institution, there were no rejections and stipends were given to fully paid interns. Mytacs was a company which had...
Placements: The recruitments from big players like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro were cut to half when compared with our senior batch. But this time, VIT had invited many dream and super dream companies to minimize the difference. I guess the highest salary is a whopping 28 lpa and the least is 2 lpa. Most of the companies are hiring as interns and converting them to full-time employees. So, I would definitely give a 5 star in terms of placements but the only irksome factor is you need to go to the main ca...
Placements: Our batch's placements have just started and 2 companies (Honda R&D and Johnson Controls India Private Limited) have already come. Placements for our seniors were decent as quite a few students got placed in good companies and for the rest of the people, mass companies were the saviour. Around 85-90% students got placed. The highest package in mechanical was greater than 10 LPA(lakhs per annum). The average salary was around 4.5-5 lakhs and the lowest salary was 3 lakhs. Data science companies, ...
Placements: Seniors say that "forget the tension of placements if you are a CSE student". The college will make us capable of finding a placement and will ensure that all the CSE students are placed along with students of other branches like ECE, EEE, ECM, etc. We have a record of the largest placements in the world and around 200 companies visited the campus for placements, so don't worry about placements as you will get placed, but the package depends on you for the CSE branch. ...
Placements: Placements were too good in this college. It is just that we have to clear every subject without backlog. The interaction with faculty members will help students a lot. If our CGPA is above 8.00, we will get dream companies and if it is less than 7, we will get a package of around 3 to 4 lakhs.
Placements: For mechanical, placement is not good. Most of the students get placement in IT, sales and marketing companies. CS students have immense opportunity though. The problem is that because there are more than enough students in a particular branch, so even though most of the very renowned companies visit the campus, all the students don't get placed in core companies.
