Absolutely satisfied because of the infrastructure and the education system.

Placements: The college promises 100% placements. Not exactly true but almost all get placed. However, it is always above 95% every time. Almost all good companies visit the campus including Wipro, Cisco, TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Intel, Dell, Samsung and many others. Students get placed according to their skills. Some in software/it and some in the ECE core. The average salary is between 5-8 lakh. Students need to maintain good academics to get internships in good companies. ...

Join VIT University and gain as much knowledge as you want.

Placements: Nowadays placements are gradually decreasing due to some MNC companies. This will be continued for the next 2 to 3 years. But during these years, IT sector companies are developing rapidly and we will get more opportunities if we choose IT, CSE branches in your B.Tech. My university is giving training on programming languages for the non-CSE students (ECE, MECH, civil) for those students who are little bit interest in programming. When coming to placements in VIT university it all depends on th...

I am very satisfied with what VIT offered me in the last four years.

Placements: Placement in VIT is the most important factor that is considered by any student or parent before joining the University (specifically main reason preferring VIT over many top universities across the country). To the matter of fact, it is the absolutely correct. Because it is one of the very few universities which makes its students happy at the end of their study time with a minimum guarantee of an IT job in MNCs like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture. And moreover, these are just the st...

Little expensive but satisfied.

Placements: Our college placements have been pretty good every year. Every student who was interested in sitting in placements were placed except the ones with backlogs. Approximately 99% got placed. The highest salary offered is 9 lakhs by Microsoft, the lowest is 2 lakhs and the average is about 4 lakhs. All the big core companies like Texas, Xlinx, Microsoft and Cisco visited our college. Most of the companies offered program developing and data analyst profiles. About 20% got internships and mostly, all...

VIT Chennai- Brief Review by a third year ECE student.

Placements: Placement scenario at VIT University is pretty good. It is one of the aspects which makes it better than other private engineering colleges like SRM and Manipal. Highest salary package bagged was 22 lacs (as told by the student welfare coordinator). The average salary is somewhere between 3.6-4.0 lacs per anum. Almost everyone gets placed at some or the other company. Thus, you have a kind of job assurance thing at VIT. Students can sit for interview for all kind of companies ranging from elec...

Placements: Most of the seniors were placed in core rest went for higher studies. The highest package was around 14 lacs, the lowest was 2 lacs and the average was 5 lacs in mechanical branch. Companies like Honda, Maruti, Denfos, Brake India Ltd, Bluestar, TVS and Tata Motors visited our campus. Around 80% students got the internship from college.

Good placement for mechanical 2017 batch.

Placements: Placement season starts from the beginning of the 7th semester (i.e. from July '16 in our case) and goes up to the end of the 8th semester (i.e May '17). For my batch i.e. mechanical 2017 batch, almost 60+ dream companies visited our campus excluding all the IT companies such as Honda, Yamaha, Maruti, MRF, Mahindra, Hyundai, Quest Global, SKF, Varroc, Mu Sigma, ZS Associates, Tredence, Future First and many more. VIT, in terms of placement, is very good as almost every student has a job in mass ...

Placements: We, the 3rd years of Btech EEE, just had an interaction meeting with our seniors and faculty about placements and higher studies. I came to know that we had 91% of students are placed, and 30 members are selected for core companies with dream offers(6 lacs+ package per year). The highest offered is 12 lacs per year, the lowest offered is 3.6 lacs per year and average offered is around 4.7 lacs per year. I am satisfied with many things in the college. I did not get placed but I got confidence here.

Placements: In MTech, we have very less placements in our core branch, but everyone will get a minimum of one software job if you try for that with 3-4 lakhs package. In my class, only 3 people got placed in core jobs. Only L&T and one unknown company came but offered a good package. In L&T, only one girl got placed. As per my branch, maximum people went for the internship without any help of the college. They directly went through their personal recommendations only. I do not exactly know the stipends they...

Best place to study and research. The best accommodation possible, except the hostel authorities.

Placements: Placements at VIT happen in the most organised way I have ever seen. All the students from both the sister branches VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai sit together for placements. Last year the 98% of students got placed. The placement is still going on and we have reached over 91% already. Moreover, people generally look how many students are placed but VIT focuses more on the quality of placements. This includes the reputation of the company, the job profile, the package offered and another hundred ...

Join if you want education in par with IIT but with a better and safe environment.

Placements: 100% placements for people who have opted for placements. Only people who either opt out for higher study or don't choose the placement option are not placed. Pre-placement preparation classes are held from the very first year. They hire professionals to teach various placement-oriented batches. They will teach you aptitudes, logical reasoning, talking skills and proper code of conduct for the interviews. Mock interview sessions are conducted.

Placements: The placement at VIT is very good. Companies which visit for the campus drive are Google, Oracle, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant etc. Like these, many good companies are visiting for recruiting the most deserving students.

A honest review of VIT University, Chennai campus.

Placements: There are too many companies that visit VIT. The only drawback is that the students have to go to the Vellore campus. Except that, almost 500 companies visit VIT. It is too easy to get placed in VIT due to its campus placement cell. Mass companies visit VIT for sure.

VIT university - a perfect combination of studies and fun.

Placements: Placements were pretty awesome. More than 200 companies on the whole came to our campus other than the mass recruitment process. Almost all students who cleared their arrears before the placement activity got placed in mass recruitment companies like TCS, Infosys. Also, many core companies came for good packages like Qualcomm, Intel, Texas Instruments offering R&D roles.

Placements: The placements for our batch 2013-2017 as well as our seniors' batch have been exceptional. A 100 percent placement record has been maintained with all the students getting placed in regular, dream and super dream companies. Placements: VIT is known for its placements. Every year dream companies like PayPal, Zomato, Honeywell, Amazon, Cisco are visiting and recruiting enough students. Apart from that, IT companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys are its top and bulk recruiting companies. Super dream companies provide more than 10 lacs per annum, dream companies provides 5-10 lacs and mass recruiters are giving 3.25-5 lacs. VIT has all the adequate facilities with excellent record-holding placements, so go for it.

Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, VIT has continued to hold the record for the most placements by any other private college in India. But since I was from VIT Chennai campus, the Chennai branch of the VIT University Vellore, we had face a little inconvenience of going to the Vellore campus for most of the placement process because most of the companies came to Vellore, not Chennai, for the placements. Other than that, there was no point where I felt dissatisfied with the placement process ...

Then also 60% students got placed and from MCA, 40% got placed out of the eligible students for recruitments. The highest package was of Directi De Shaw, Amazon etc. of about 20 lakhs. 50 % of placed students got internships as well.
