A law school without democratic spirit.

Placements: As of today when I am writing this review, the first batch of the law school is still in its 4th year and the placement will happen only after 12 months. The management says that only the mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS, etc., and a few third tier law firms will be coming over here for recruitment. The management hasn't been answering our queries regarding the same, and there is no official word from their side regarding the same. We are still waiting for our senior batch to go through the pro...

The university has an excellent faculty, amazing placements, and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good and 100%. 7 CGPA is a good result. The salary offered in between 3-6 LPA. All the new companies come here for the students. They know how to choose, and they tell you what to do. They satisfy your needs and effort. Everyone will get placed and no reason to be sad about it. There will be training before the real job starts.

Very good. It's worth the college fees, will get a very good exposure.

Placements: Most of the top companies visit the college for the campus selection. If you are not selected for any of the company, there is no need to be disheartened because of more than 100 companies from each stream visit the college every year. Almost all the students got placed this year. They get a minimum package of 4 LPA. More than 50% students get their dream and super dream companies and package.

In 2 years, I have seen the bad and good faculty.

Placements: There will be no 100% placements in this college, and it is all fake that the students pursue here will get a job. The highest package for my senior batch is 24 lakhs per annum, and the least is 3 lakhs per annum. Many companies are coming to our college like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc. Around 50% of the students got the internship.

VIT, a place to learn and grow.

Placements: The placements are quite good. Last year, the highest package offered was Rs. 25 lakhs per annum and the average package offered was Rs. 4 lakhs per annum. The placements of the Chennai campus and the Vellore campus are held together at Vellore, but some companies visit the Chennai campus too for the placements. Overall, if you are good at studies, scoring a CGPA above 9, you will get a nice package.

A good place to have a research oriented career.

Placements: A lot of companies including Amazon, Microsoft and PayPal have visited our college this year offering different roles. If we look at the number of students placed in companies, I can say that the percentage is very good. The highest salary offered til now is approximately 25 lakhs CTC. The lowest would be around 3 lakhs CTC. Many students have got the 6 months internships from the college through placements. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 50,000, while the lowest stipend offered, was Rs. 10...

Genuine review of one of the best universities in India, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai.

Placements: Got selected in 2 multinational companies, and I selected the one which I felt the right to my career, and I am happily working on it for more than 8 months. The projects for us is the timed project, and the work which I am doing is related to my studies, so technically I don't have any issues with my project. The knowledge is helping me currently, so it was a good thing.

A place to find better knowledge than others.

Placements: While most of the students in college got placed in IT companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, etc., with an average salary package of about Rs. 3.5-4 lakhs, most of the good students got placed in different companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon with package above Rs.10 lakhs. As far I know, the highest package in our campus is around Rs. 24 lakhs. Before this time, the Chennai campus students went to Vellore campus for placements, but now the companies are interested to take interviews...

A place to learn and a chance to grow

Placements: Our college has good placements in L&T and various IT companies. They train from the first year by having a course with some credits called soft skills, through which we can gain much more knowledge for attending placements. More platforms were created for the placements through outsourcing too.

Decent college but not that great.

Placements: The placement activity in the college is satisfactory. There is an extensive training in the placement process with a particular focus on the areas that the companies are interested in a candidate. The placements in the core companies are limited to 10-15 from a batch maximum, but almost all the students enrolled for placement activities and got placed in analytics or IT companies. Overall from the placement point of view, the college is decent.

Review of Vellore Institute of Technology

Placements: Placement is very good for the CSE, ECE, and IT. But sometimes, it is quite difficult for the core branches like mechanical and civil. If we talk about placements, it is approximately 90% with mass recruiters. But people prefer going in core companies. But if you are looking for good knowledge and just placements, then it is the perfect place for you. There are a few placements in core but those placements have very good packages for the freshers and a vast scope for the future, and ensure a vas...

Placements: The placement record in our branch is decent in core sector, whereas in IT sector, it is excellent but concerning the core, it is below average. I think in the near future, the progress will happen and things will change in all the perspective either relating to academics or the placements. More than 80 percent of the student gets placed, and the average is Rs. 5 to 6 lakhs per annum offered by the visiting company. Regarding the core, L&T, Sharpooji visits the campus and Wipro, Infosys also vis...

Placements: I really don't know much about placements. But 100% placement is there on this campus. One of my seniors got 30 lakhs per annum. There is a very good atmosphere here for placement. Almost all companies from all streams give opportunities to the students of our campus.

An overview of VIT University, Chennai.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. MNCs from many parts of India come here in search of young talents. They assure us a maximum placement of 90% with a good package. Also, they train us for placements by having soft skills classes. This helps us to clear HR round and aptitude rounds easily.

Placements: The placements were pretty good this season. The maximum package offered was 24.5 lakhs by DE Shaw. Along with it, PayPal also offered 14 lakhs per annum. IT companies who came for mass recruitment recruited almost 70% of the graduates which is a greater mark as compared with other big universities in the city.
