The admission to Woxsen University PhD programme is based on candidate's score in the qualifying exams. The specific eligibility & selection criteria of the PhD programme is given below:

Eligibility Criteria: Two years Master’s degree holder or PG Diploma in the relevant field approved by UGC/ AICTE or from foreign universities as recognised by AIU with a minimum of 55% aggregate (or its equivalent grade).

Selection criteria: UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET/ ICMR/ GATE/ WRET + online presentation and discussion

Note: Students with master’s degree from Distance or Online Education should obtain a degree approved by DEB of UGC.

Established in 2014, Woxsen University Hyderabad is a private university approved by UGC, AICTE, and COA. It is also accredited by NBA, AMBA, AACSB, AMDISA, EFMD Global, RRBM, PRME, and RLI. The university offers UG, PG, PhD, and executive courses to students across the streams of Architecture, Management, Commerce, etc. Woxsen University through its seven schools offers over 34 courses. Candidates can pursue UG, PG, and PhD courses, including BArch, MBA, BBA, BCom (Hons), etc. from the university.

The admission to the Woxen University are based on the entrance exam scores conducted by differentexam conducting bodies. The university in Hyderabad shortlists candidates for its BTech course based on candidates' performance in various entrance exams, including IIT JEE Main, VITEEE, Andhra Pradesh & TS-EAMCET, MHT CET, CUET or Woxsen-JEET. In order to get admission, candidates have to qualify for any one of the respective entrance exam. The university also conducts a psychometric test and personal interview rounds to evaluate a candidate's personality traits, behaviour, and attitude towards learning.

BSc at Woxsen University is a four-year Hons course. The university admits students to these courses based on their merit in either WAT/SAT/CUET. Moreover, students must have cleared Class 12 from a recognised board of education with a minimum of 60% aggregate.

Woxen University offers BTech courses and shortlists aspirants based on their performance in various entrance exams, including IIT JEE Mains, VITEEE Andhra Pradesh & TS EAMCET, MHT CET or Woxsen-JEET. The university also conducts a psychometric test and Personal Interview to evaluate a candidate's personality traits, behaviour, and attitude towards learning.

Woxsen University grants merit-based scholarships in tuition fees for full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The scholarship is purely based on the student's composite score. The scholarships will be equivalent to 50 percent of the tuition fee.
