GGSIPU also known as Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi has been ranked among the top universities in the country and was established in the year 1998. The university is particularly known for its Law, Engineering, Architecture, and Management courses. The university has 111 affiliated colleges, out of these 87 are self-financed and 24 are owned and operated by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and the Govt. of India. The university has been ranked in the A category by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has a total university strength of more than 93,000. The university ranking stands at 79 among Indian universities. Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers a two-year full-time MCA course at the postgraduate level. The University also offers MCA (Lateral) course for a duration of one year. Admission to MCA is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET).

The counselling process for IPU BTech started on Jun 6. Currently, counselling is ongoing for various courses at GGSIPU. The document verification and seat allotment first round for BDes/MDes was carried out on Jul 28. Library at GGSIPU
The university has a huge centrally air-conditioned library that contains 66,087 books, 12,177 e-books, 14,976 journals, subscriptions to 14 online databases, etc. The students and faculty members can also access the resources remotely with the help of the WebOPAC facility.
GGSIPU Hostel and Cafeteria
The university has four hostels on campus, two for male and two for female students. Each hostel has more than 180 single-seating rooms. Each room of the hostel is equipped with basic furniture and facilities like a cot, pillow, chair, table, etc. The two boys’ hostels at the university are Shivalik hostel and Aravali hostel whereas the girls’ hostels are named Nilgiri Hostel and Satpura Hostel.

- Library: The library on the GGSIPU campus offers a plethora of resources that students and faculty can use. Students can access the National Digital Library (NDL), Grammarly Premium, electronic books, electronic journals, and more. Additionally, a lot of print resources are available to students from SpringerLink, Springer Nature, McGraw Hill, Pearson, Bloomsbury, etc.
- Hostels: There are 2 boys Hostels, Shivalik and Aravalli Boys hostel and 2 Girls Hostel, Nilgiri and Satpura Girls Hostel. Each room of the hostel is equipped with all basic amenities like a cot, chair table etc.
