For admissions to the BTech course, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for admissions is that candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biology. BE is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. The college offers BE in seven specialisations, namely Computer Science, Mechanical, Computer Science (Data Science), Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Science & Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Candidates after completing Class 12 or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages with at least 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biology can apply for the BE course.
