Q:   Can a student get admission to DAVV without CUET?

A:

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. So, the best solution is to prepare in advance for the CUET and get admission in the relevant course. Seats are limited and candidates applying through CUET are many. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

Q:   Does DAVV require CUET?

A:

Admission into DAVV Indore for the year 2024 is based on the CUET exam. The CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to take place from May 15 to 31, 2024, while the CUET PG 2024 exam is going to be conducted between March 11 to 28, 2024. NTA is expected to release the CUET PG 2024 Application Form in the 1st week of January 2024. Admission into various programmes such as BVoc, MPharm, MVoc, and Diploma programmes does not require taking the CUET exam.

Admission to these courses is made based on JEE Main score. Moreover, the seat allocation process will be conducted by DTE, Bhopal counselling procedure.

Q:   Can I do BCA from DAVV if I did not study Maths as a subject in the 12th class?

A:

No, you cannot pursue the BCA programme from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) if you did not study Mathematics as a subject in your 10+2 education. As per the eligibility criteria of the BCA programme offered by DAVV, candidates should have completed their 10+2 education in any stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Therefore, Mathematics is a mandatory requirement for admission to the BCA programme at DAVV. It is advisable to check the eligibility criteria of the BCA programme at other universities or colleges where you are planning to apply. Some universities or colleges may have different eligibility criteria, and they may consider candidates without Mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 education.

Q:   Is there any reservation policy and conservation of seat at DAVV?

A:

Admissions in this university will be governed by the reservation policies of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Only residents of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible for reservation benefits as per the state government's regulations. Additionally, 30% of the total seats will be reserved horizontally for female applicants.

Under the DAVV employee ward quota, children or spouses of the university's teachers, officers, and employees will be admitted according to the university's issued notification. These admissions will be in addition to the total number of seats available in the respective programme. Please note that at the time of admission, a certificate from the University's Registrar or the Competent Authority is required to confirm the relationship of the candidate to the university's employee.

Note: These seats are interchangeable, and can be converted to other category (Teacher/Officer to Employee vice - versa) if they remain vacant.

Q:   Can I get a refund if I cancel my admission from DAVV?

A:

In DAVV, fees once paid will be fully refunded. But the university have some rules and regulation to be followed by the candidates to get full refund. If any candidate wants to cancel the admission, he / she should be apply in prescribed proforma. To fill out the proforma, candidates are required to visit the university official website. In case, if any candidate leaves the program, the fees will be refunded as per the guidelines of UGC. If a candidate leaves any program after the said date, only caution money will be refunded.
