From Just an Interest to a Career: Choosing CSE at Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering
This college and this course form the perfect combination for me because they align with my academic goals, career aspirations, and personal values. My college puts more effort into practical sessions and provides industrial-level knowledge. Additionally, the college has a good enough network and opportunities for internships.
Getting interested in Engineering
During lockdown, when I was in Class 10, all the hardware and local shops were closed, but the online business platforms were still functional. I came to know that no matter the size of online platforms like these, they will never stop no matter what is going on in the physical world. I also found out that the gaming industry will be the most earning industry in the upcoming years. This is how I decided that I was going to choose the Science stream after my Class 10. After the Class 12, this made me go for the CSE branch.
After completing my Class 12, I took the state-level entrance exam (MHT-CET) for my Engineering admission. I completed all my studies only via self-study. After cracking the exam, I was admitted to the CSE branch at Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering. This college was my first preference because I didn’t want to travel a lot.

College Experience
College life has an important role in shaping your overall growth. Usually, it depends on your interests and your friend zones. In Exams, we can't focus on personal skills, but after that, we have around 2 to 4 months to work on our skills. Our college also focused on our industrial-ready growth.
Currently, college is going well. We spend most of our time attending theory and practical sessions. I enjoy the Maths class, and our teachers are very friendly and supportive. In our free time, we spend our time playing games or doing physical activities such as cricket and football. My college experience has changed me a lot, and now I have become responsible for my career and family. The college has taught me that it is good for me if I learn industry-level knowledge and also made me feel like wanting to start my own start-up business in the future.
