Jawaharlal Nehru University semester results are released in July and December every year. The results are released in online mode. Candidates can check the JNU results at jnu.ac.in. Students of various UG and PG courses such as BTech, MBA, BA, MA, MSc, BSc and MCA appear for JNU semester-end exams every year. In addition to this, JNU CUET PG result 2024 has been announced by the NTA. Candidates who appeared for the JNU CUET exam can check and download their JNU CUET results (UG and PG) by logging in to their accounts using their application number, and date of birth from the official website of CUET. 

Latest Update: NTA released CUET PG 2024 results on April 13, 2024 on it official website. Students who were eagerly waiting to check their CUET PG 2024 scorecard can now visit the official website ie., pgcuet.samarth.ac.in and with the login credentials can see their CUET PG result 2024.

How to check JNU Result 2024?

JNU follows a semester pattern, namely monsoon and winter semesters and releases the result of each semester in July and December, respectively. JNU results can be checked by visiting the official website of the university. Q:   What is the minimum marks for JNU admission?

A:

The educational qualification and minimum aggregate requirement varies course-wise. However, the basic eligibility remains the same i.e. Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG courses. Find below JNU eligibility criteria for top courses:

Q:   Is there any entrance exam for MA admission at JNU?

A:

Yes, candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must appear for the CUET-PG entrance exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The students are admitted on merit based on their performance in the entrance test and the deprivation points are added to their score in accordance with the approved admission Policy and Procedures of the University. The CUET PG 2023 exam will be held for postgraduate course admissions to over 50 Central and participating Universities.

Q:   How many seats are available for BSc at JNU?

A:

The total seat intake for the JNU BSc-MSc course is 20. This is as per the information given in the latest JNU brochure. Moreover, the seat intake for BSc courses offered by NDA is not available. Candidates can visit the NDA official website (nda.nic.in) or get in touch with the admission office for details regarding the same. During counselling, seats are allotted to the students based on performance in CUET and as per seat availability.

Step 1: Visit the official website of JNU and click on the 'View Results' link available in the 'Notification' section.

Step 2: Select all the required details, such as field and programme of study and hit the 'Search' button.

Step 3: Enter the registration number and click on 'Submit' to view the results.

Step 4: The JNU results are displayed in PDF format that can be downloaded and saved for future reference.

JNU Revaluation Result 2024

In cases where students are not satisfied with their results, Jawaharlal Nehru University invites applications for UG & PG revaluation/ rechecking. Usually, the examination office tries to reevaluate/ recheck the exam papers within 45 days of the receipt of the request. Once the revaluation results are released, candidates can check the results by visiting the official website of JNU by entering their registration number.

Q:   Can I get admission to JNU without CUET?

A:

To get admission at Jawaharlal Nehru University, candidates must visit the official website of the University (jnu.ac.in) or NTA for course-wise admission criteria. JNU admission to most of the UG, PG and Diploma courses are based on candidates' performance in the CUET-UG & CUET-PG scores. For admission to JNU BA (Hons.) in Foreign Languages, BSc.-MSc Integrated programme in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiency courses, JNU accepts CUET-UG. For JNU PG courses including MTech, MPH, MA, MSc, MCA and PG Diploma in Big Data, admission is based on CUET-PG scores. For JNU MBA admission 2025, CUET-PG is not valid and is dependent on CAT scores. 

Q:   How many seats are there in JNU for MA?

A:

There are over 965 seats for MA courses. The seat reservation policy is carried out as per a set of rules. Reservation of seats in various programmes of study for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer (NCL) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category is 15%, 7.5%, 27% and 10%, respectively. As per the provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Act, 2016, not less than 5% seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.

Q:   What is the eligibility for MA at JNU?

A:

Candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must have a BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks. Candidates who have passed BSc/ BCom/ BA with Mathematics at Class 12 or at Graduation level with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, candidates also need to appear for the Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) CUET-PG entrance test.

Q:   How many seats are available for M.Tech at JNU?

A:

The total number of seats available forM.Techin JNU is 65. Seat allotment procedure is carried out as per the seat intake. Q:   What is the age limit for JNU MA?

A:

To be eligible to pursue an MA at JNU, applicants must have completed completed 17 years of age as of October 1 of the year of admission. However, as per the available information, there is no upper/maximum age limit specified by the university. Applicants are required to provide their birth certificate or Class 10 certificate t to verify their age. Additionally, they must ensure meeting all the other eligibility criteria before applying for admission to the MA programme.
