Kuvempu University is an affiliating private university that established its Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) in the year 2002. At present, Kuvempu University through its DDE offers more than 30 courses at UG, PG and PG diploma level across the streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, among others. At the UG level, it offers BA, BSc, BCom, BBA and BLISc degrees, while at the PG level, it offers MA, MSc, MCom and MBA. Apart from this, the University offers a PG diploma programme across seven specialisations in distance learning mode. All these course offered at Kuvempu University are recognised by the Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB). The minimum qualification required for all the UG courses is a pass in Class 12 in the relevant field, while PG and PG diploma applicants need to possess a bachelor's degree from a recognised institution. DDE provides a common application process for all the UG, PG, and Diploma courses. Kuvempu University DDE Admission 2021: BA, BSc
At the UG level, DDE functioning under Kuvempu University offers a three-year BA and BSc programme in distance learning mode. While BA programme is offered across 14 specialisation combinations, candidates can choose from two distinct specialisation combinations while pursuing BSc programme. Kuvempu University DDE Admission 2021: BCom, BBA, BLISc
Apart from the above-mentioned UG courses, Kuvempu University DDE offers a few more courses, including BCom, BBA and BLISc. While BBA and BCom are three-year courses, BLISc is offered for a duration of one year. However, BLISc students have an option of completing the course in a maximum of two years from the date of registration. Kuvempu University DDE offers admission to MA and MSc programmes based on aggregate obtained by candidates in past qualifying degree/ exam.
