The odd semester result for Visvesvaraya Technological University 2019 are out now. The results are generally posted within one to one and a half months of the completion of the exams. Here's how you can view your results.

VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) was founded on 1st April 1998 and named after the notable engineer, statesman, scholar and recipient of the highest civilian honour ‘Bharat Ratna’ in India, Sir M. Visvesvaraya. The university is headquartered at Belgravia, Karnataka and has three regional headquarters at Gulbarga, Mysore, and Bangalore. It is one of the leading and largest technological Universities in India. It has 218 affiliated colleges under which 67100 students have been listed in undergraduate courses, 1800 students are listed under doctorate courses and 12,666 are listed in the postgraduate courses.

The students get admission in VTU through entrance exams such as KMAT, JEE Main and GATE. The colleges are divided into categories based on their funding such as private-unaided, government and private-aided. The further division of colleges is categorized by the UGC as a non-autonomous and autonomous category of institutions. Visvesvaraya university offers courses like bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree. It also offers a postgraduate degree such as Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Technology (M.Tech), doctorate (Ph.D.) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).

The exams are conducted in the affiliated colleges twice a year and corresponding Visvesvaraya Technological University Results 2019 are declared in the official website of VTU. The even semesters are conducted during May and June whose results are published during July, whereas the odd semesters are conducted during December and January whose results are published in the month of February.

With reference to Visvesvaraya Technological University Results 2019, results for B.Tech/B.E/MBA all odd semester results (CBCS & Non-CBCS) are out now. The provisional and the re-evaluation results of the university are declared on their official website twice each year during the odd and even semesters. The VTU Results, 2019 for the students who had applied for re-evaluation had been declared in the month of May 2019. The re-evaluation results could also be accessed by the students through the VTU alert portal. This portal had been specially designed for the students for the re-evaluation process and news related to Visvesvaraya Technological University Results 2019.

The results of the VTU are generally declared within a month and a half after the conduction of the examination. The university releases the results of each of the curses region wise and according to program separately, one after the other. The result of the even semester is going to be declared in the month of July. Some of the methods of checking the VTU results are given below:

  • The student first needs to visit the official website of the university http://vtu.ac.in/kn/
  • There is a link on the home page known as ‘Results’ which could be found within the ‘examination’ section.
  • A number of links could be found on the page which represents different streams and programs.
  • the students on clicking the program link of their own respective choice, a dialogue box opens up for downloading and taking a printout of the results.

The VTU Results, 2019 for the even semester, would be declared in August. The students who need to apply for rejection of the semester result have to send an application to the registrar in order to apply for the rejection of results cum readmission. This process of applying for rejection of semester result in VTU is applicable for the students who are not satisfied with their internal marks and can repeat the whole semester which includes all the subjects. This is permitted only once per student throughout their entire course. The application has to be sent to the registrar within 30 days of the VTU Results, 2019 declaration for the even semesters. The VTU even semesters are going to start from the end of May 2019 and would continue up to June 2019. The students waiting for Visvesvaraya Technological University Results in 2019 have to download admit cards from the portal for all the UG and the PG courses. All students for the even semester and odd semester supplementary exams can check their VTU Results 2019 as well as previous results of previous semesters and other important information regarding syllabus and other courses for the students at the university website.

VTU Exams are conducted twice a year for all colleges which are under affiliation of VTU.
