Yes, 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer in the AEEE. Students will be awarded 3 marks for every correct answer. Students will be given four options for each question, and they must carefully mark the answer keeping in mind the negative marking in the AEEE question paper.

AEEE 2025: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has started the AEEE slot booking process for the phase 1 registered candidates. Candidates who have completed the registration process can book the AEEE slots at aeee.amrta.edu under their respective logins. Amrita has also added one more exam date to the phase 1 exams - AEEE 2025 phase 1 exams will be now held on February 1, 2 and 3. The last date to fill out the AEEE Phase 1 application form and book slots is January 25. Candidates who book the slots before the last date will be issued the AEEE 2025 admit card on January 27. AEEE hall ticket is a mandatory document at the exam centre. The exam will be held across 149 centres in India including Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Dubai, UAE in three slots per day - 08:30 am to 11:00 AM, 12:00 noon to 02:30 pm, and 03:30 pm to 06:00 pm.

Amrita will conduct the Amrita BTech entrance exam known as the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2025 in two phases in CBT mode at the national level. The AEEE 2025 phase 2 exam dates are May 10 to 14, and the registration details for the second phase will be announced later. The AEEE 2025 exam date and complete details are available at aeee.amrita.edu. AEEE 2025 exam will have questions from Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and English. The AEEE syllabus and AEEE 2025 exam pattern have been updated on the official website. The exam will be held for 2 hours 30 minutes and there will be 100 MCQs asked (40 from Maths, 30 from Physics, 25 from Chemistry and 5 from English). Each question will carry 3 marks and each wrong attempt will lead to a penalty of 1 mark.

Via AEEE scores, candidates will be given admission in BTech courses offered by the Amrita engineering campuses located at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad and Nagercoil. To complete Amrita BTech admission 2025, candidates must register for AEEE, book exam slots, download the admit card, appear for the exam, check their ranks and register for the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Via CSAP, AEEE qualified candidates can then participate in programme selection and seat allotment leading to admission to the desired course and campus of Amrita University. Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains 2025 individually or even select both. What is AEEE?

The Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) is a computer-based test for 10+2 graduates seeking admission to BTech courses at various campuses of Amrita University: Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad and Nagercoil (new from 2024). Following the AEEE, successful candidates undergo the Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP) for counselling. CSAP enables AEEE-qualified applicants to select programs and campuses and receive seat allocations for admission.

Candidates can apply for AEEE 2025 online on the official website, amrita.edu. The application form must be submitted as per the deadline for each phase. The candidates are advised to have their own personal and valid email ID and mobile number. Candidates are advised to retain the registered mobile number and email they have submitted in the application form till all the admission procedures are completed as all important updates will be informed to the candidates through SMS/e-mail or both.

Academic Profile, documents upload and JEE Mains scores may be entered after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application.
Candidates who have appeared in Phase I of the AEEE 2025 examination can also appear for Phase II examination by paying an additional fee of INR 600. This is an opportunity given to the candidates to improve their scores.
