Don't take admission without reading this.
Placements: Around 80% of the students in my course were placed, which is a reflection of a strong academic foundation and effective training efforts. The highest package was 40 LPA (Amazon), the average was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA (TCS). Top recruiters included Microsoft, Amazon, and Byju's, offering roles like software engineer, data analyst, and consultant. About 50% secured internships with companies like EY, Deloitte, and startups, gaining hands-on experience and pre-placement opportunities. Overall, the course provided outstanding placement outcomes by instilling practical skills, career growth, and industry readiness in the graduates.
Infrastructure: 1. The infrastructure is good, with well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi available (though time-limited), and a library stocked with books. 2. The faculty lacks modern teaching methods due to a generation gap, but the hostel food was good for the first two months, but then it became bad. However, the facilities in the canteen, medical support, and sports were excellent, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for students.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were dumb but some were excellent. The teaching quality was bad; they came with their notes, which were like 10 years old and just passed it. No, the course is outdated. Well, the exams are easy as repeated questions come.
Other: I have a genuine interest in computers, so that's why I took CSE and the best thing about CSE is that it evolves every day. I would like to introduce new languages like Python and trust. Akgec is a college where there is no fest, the crowd is mixed, and extracurricular activities are there if you are willing to take part.

The college review for what I felt.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in our college is very good. Around 80% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered to students is 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA - 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. We have a seperate building for classes, auditoriums, and labs. Our classrooms are kept clean. They are very spacious for students to study. Our labs are equipped with the latest equipment, machines, and systems.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are very helpful and very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They have many years of teaching experience. They have worked in many colleges. Their teaching quality is very good. They are able to clear doubts of students.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the poor management of AKGEC.
Placements: This year, the placements are really bad, especially because of the recession period. The placements themselves are usually not that nice, but due to the recession in the IT sector this year, it is way worse. Other branches apart from all the computer-related branches are being placed in large amounts. ME, ECE, EN, CIVIL—these branches have better placements than CSE branches this year.
Infrastructure: The facilities, such as Wi-Fi, do not work. It is very slow, and if you want to actually study, it will only frustrate you because of how slow it is. There are no ACs in classes, and in the summer of 2024, it's WAY TOO HOT. We have classes in May, June, July, which are the hottest months of the year, and the management thinks we should be 'mentally strong' and not be bothered by the extremely hot classrooms, which are unbearable. The management is not there to help the students.
Faculty: The faculty may be qualified and have the required degrees, but they do not know how to teach, and most of the faculty don't want to teach. The curriculum is very outdated, and no practical applications are taught. Even in labs, they don't teach us anything and expect us to do the research ourselves and complete the experiments. They do not care if we even did the experiments; they just want their lab files, which are handwritten CODE.
Other: The value for money is not there since even after taking this much money, they cannot put ACs and instead are just building more classrooms so they can extend the number of seats in order to get more admissions and hence more money.

This college is good but will not help you in skill development.
Placements: There is a decrease in placements as a result of the recession. But many of the students are getting good placement by their skills. There is a decrease in placements as a result of the recession. But many of the students are getting good placement by their skills. You can get placement by focusing on skills.
Infrastructure: The college campus is huge as compared to others in Ghaziabad. There are a lot of trees and also a beautiful park and temple, i.e., the Faith Centre. Huge campus area, good canteen, good hostels, etc. are there. If we talk about the college infrastructure, it's pretty good; that will not disappoint you.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are focused on educating their students. But they are also strict and give a lot of assignments. A lot of strictness and assignments. Reality of Ghaziabad colleges.
Placements: Placements are decent. Each student who gets into the placement and training cell of the college will definitely be able to crack a job. The average CTC of the college is about 8 LPA. About 70% of students are placed in the college. No big companies come to the college. Only Noida and Delhi-based companies come.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too old, as it is based on the AKTU counseling system. It will definitely be modified. The facilities are good, helpful, and supportive, and they also take extra classes for exams. Hostel food is very poor. I do not recommend that you choose the hostels. Rather, take nearby PGs.
Faculty: It was not the fault of the faculty who chose the curriculum. It is designed by the AKTU council, which is responsible for this old syllabus, which is irrelevant for engineering. Now, students are not able to fit into the industry after their graduation.
Other: I chose this course because I like coding and all that stuff. Also, the college is fully focused on academics. There are no events except for freshers. Scholarships are for UPTAC counseling students whose family income is below 5 LPA.
