I am very happy to share my entire experience with this college.
Placements: The placement of this college is high, and all mechanical engineering senior students are placed in good companies before completing their degree. And the average LPA is 4.5 Lacs of the placed students. And the top recruiting companies are Uniquatar, Daikin, JP Research, etc.
Infrastructure: In the mechanical engineering department, all faculty members are very good and helpful. And hostels are also very good. And nowadays the requirement of mechanical engineers is very high, and in this college automobile engineering is the specialization.
Faculty: The faculty members of the University of Engineering and Management are very good, and the faculty members of the Department of Mechanical Engineering are also very good; they have excellent knowledge about mechanical engineering and also have a helping nature with students.
Other: These days, the requirements for mechanical engineers are very high.

Extremely satisfied with the teaching methods and placements.
Placements: The placement of the college is high, and all the seniors in mechanical engineering have been placed in good companies. The average package is 5 LPA for the college, and our department has a 4 LPA average. Companies like Daikin, Mayur Uniquoters, Polycab, etc., hire from our department every year. They also tend to provide internships as well.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is extremely consistent and provides a fast connection; very few interruptions occur. The labs in our department are up-to-date and have good safety protocols, enabling students to engage in experiments without fear. The library also has all the needed books and is very well-maintained. The quality of the food is good, and the sports and facilities are updated from time to time.
Faculty: The teachers are the best part of the college, especially our department, as they have a very unique approach to teaching. They are knowledgeable and always try to solve the queries of the students as much as they can. The course curriculum is relevant to today's industry requirements. The exams are difficult, but they help in assessing knowledge.
Other: I chose this course in mechanical engineering because I have a passion for vehicles and love to work around engines. The college provides help to do projects and reimburses the money of the students too. I wish that the course provided even more equipment and took students to car companies and tracks.

I'm dissatisfied with our college due to placements.
Placements: About 50% of our batch got placed, though the companies paid us like labour. The highest salary package goes to about 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 1.8 LPA. The average salary package is 2.1 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college are A1 Fence, Poly Cab, etc. Around 50% got non-paid internships at BMW and Maruti-Suzuki. The top role offered for our course is GET.
Infrastructure: We have a good Wi-Fi connection in every hostel and classroom. Almost all labs are alright, but the condition of machines in the workshop is bad due to mismanagement and negligence. We don't have CNC either. Hostel rooms are big enough and proper cleanliness is maintained. Food quality is medium. We only have basic medical facilities and the availability of doctors sometimes creates a big issue. We have lots of space for sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are always very helpful. Most of the professors are highly qualified. But I feel universities should put more focus on their curriculum to make industry-ready students. Exams are moderate level but no one has a chance to copy due to strict invigilators, which is very important to create quality students. The pass percentage of our college was 100%.
Other: I chose the course to follow my passion, and I will never regret the journey. I wish if high-end machines were introduced in the workshop, then it would be better for gaining more practical experience. Our university organises sports events and tech events every year on campus.

It is a good college. I would recommend to everyone to take admission to this college.
Placements: Around 100% of students are placed in our college and there are full placements. The highest salary package offered is 72 LPA. The top recruiting companies are IBM and Capgemini. There are many students that get great internships with good packages.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good in our college, and the infrastructure is fine. The laboratories are very good. The classrooms and laboratories are fully well-equipped. The food is good, and there are many canteens available in our college. All sports facilities are there in our college. There are also indoor and outdoor games, and students can play anything they want.
Faculty: Teachers are Ph.D. holders and some of them are from IIT and NIT. Faculty members are very knowledgeable. The exam level is not very much tough if students prepare well. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I would recommend students to take this branch because it is interesting in core branches. Many events will be performed in our college. There is also free Wi-Fi on our campus so that students can do their work without any problem.

Hi dear, I will not recommend you University of Management, Kolkata for mechanical engineering. UEM is famous for non-core branches like IT and CSE. Also, UEM Kolkata does not have a vast history; it is a new college. So don't go for mechanical engineering in UEM. Do upvote the answer if you like
