WBJEE 2025 Application Form

The authorities are expected to release the online WBJEE 2025 application form tentatively in December 2024. No other mode of application will be accepted. All of the required details have to be filled out in the WBJEE application form 2025. Invalid and incomplete applications will not be accepted. To fill out the application form, the candidates can follow the given steps.

Step 1 - Registration: As a first step, the candidates will have to visit wbjeeb.nic.in and click on the registration link. Next, the candidates will have to provide the required credentials to complete the registration process. The application number will be generated after the registration process is completed.
Step 2 - Filling out the form: After registration, the candidates will have to fill out the application form with their personal, academic and contact details. Candidates will also have to select their choice of WBJEE 2025 exam centres in the order of preference. All of the details submitted have to be valid.
Step 3 - Uploading of Documents: Next, the candidates will have to upload their scanned photographs and signatures as per the official specifications.
Step 4 - Fee Payment: All candidates will have to pay the required WBJEE 2025 application fee. The mode of fee payment is online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
Step 5 - Downloading of Confirmation Page: Finally, the candidates will have to download the confirmation page for future use.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The authorities are expected to soon announce the official WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to check the WBJEE eligibility criteria 2025 before registering for the entrance examination. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility norms will not be considered for admission into the participating institutes of the state. The WBJEE eligibility criteria might vary for different courses and at the institute level.

Eligibility criteria for appearing in WBJEE 2025

Nationality

The candidate must be an Indian citizen

Age restriction

Candidate must be at least 17 years of age as of the admission year. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the exam.
However, for admission to the Marine Engineering Course, the lower age limit is 17 years as of December 31, 2025, and the upper age limit is 25 years as of December 31, 2025.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admissions

The candidates should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of the listed below subjects as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all three subjects in regular class mode.

Must have secured a minimum of 45 per cent marks (40 per cent in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) in the above three subjects taken together.
Candidates should have qualified English in the Class 12 exam with at least 30 per cent marks.
The Board of the Qualifying Examination must be recognised by the Central Government or State Government concerned.

WBJEE 2025 Syllabus

WBJEE 2025 syllabus will be available online. Candidates will be able to check the subjects, units and topics that they will have to prepare for the examination through the WBJEE syllabus 2025. While preparing for the examination, the candidates are advised to check the official syllabus to know what has to be studied. The WBJEE syllabus will consist of 12th standard level topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Knowing the syllabus beforehand will allow the candidates to plan their study strategy and complete the topics before the examination date.

The details regarding the allotted exam centre, date, timings, guidelines and more will be available through the WBJEE admit card. While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates are advised to bring their WBJEE 2025 hall ticket along with one valid identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/School ID). Without these documents, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the examination. If there are any mistakes in the WBJEE admit card, the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities. However, no requests to change the allotted exam centres will be accepted.

WBJEE 2025 Answer Key

WBJEE 2025 answer key will be available online. The authorities will release the correct responses to the question paper through the model answer key of WBJEE 2025. Candidates will be able to calculate their probable secured scores using the WBJEE answer key. Objections against the model WBJEE 2025 answer key will be accepted until the final date, which will be announced soon. After the objections are checked, the final answer key will be released. The authorities will also release the WBJEE 2025 OMR sheets and response sheets.

WBJEE 2025 Result

WBJEE 2025 result will be released a few weeks after the exam is conducted. The scores and rank obtained in the entrance examination will be available through the WBJEE result 2025. Candidates will be able to access the result of WBJEE 2025 by logging in using the required credentials. It is to be noted that the result will be downloadable in the form of a WBJEE rank card. The authorities will not use any other mode to declare the WBJEE result. A printout of the rank card has to be taken for future use. If any mistakes were found in the WBJEE result, the candidates will have to immediately contact the authorities. However, no requests to review the scores and ranks will be accepted by the authorities.

WBJEE 2025 Counselling

Qualified candidates will have to participate in the WBJEE 2025 counselling process. During the WBJEE counselling process, the candidates will have to register, fill out the form and select their choice of courses and colleges. It is to be noted that the selection of courses and colleges has to be done in the order of preference. WBJEE 2025 seat allotment results will be announced online. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. All of the allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the seat acceptance fee and verifying their documents at their respective institutes. Three rounds of WBJEE counselling 2025 is expected to be held.
