IPMAT registration 2025 is expected to begin in the second week of February 2025. The IPMAT application form 2025 will be available on the official website and there will be no provision for offline IPMAT registration. The exact IPMAT 2025 registration date will be announced by the exam conducting authority, IIM Indore. The form correction window for IPMAT 2025 will be opened for candidates to make corrections to the form. Before filling out the IPMAT 2025 application form, it is important to check the IPMAT eligibility criteria for the exam. Application forms will be accepted only for candidates who are eligible to apply for the exam. IIM Indore IPMAT 2025 will be conducted on May 12, 2025. IIM Rohtak will release the IPMAT Rohtak application form 2025 online in the first week of February 2025, tentatively. 

Q:   I am in 12th and want to appear for IPMAT exam, can I fill the form of IPMAT without the results of 12th class?

A:

Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting for their Class 12 results can certainly apply for the IPMAT exam. The basic eligibility crtieria for appearing for the IPMAT exam is as follows:

  • The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of the General and NC-OBC categories.

  • The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023 or in 2024.
  • Also, the candidate should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2024.

  • The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) categories.

  • Applicants in Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally. This means that they would be requireed to present their Class 12 marksheet, school leaving certificate, transfer certificate, etc. at the time of admission. If the candidate fails to submit the required documents, then, their candidature will be cancelled.

Q:   Is there a scholarship through IPMAT?

A:

Yes, IIM Indore extends financial aid to the aspirants in need of financial assistance. The institute offers a Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) scholarship to ensure that no aspirant is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. All participants admitted to the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) with annual family income below INR 9,00,000 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. All the students who have applied through the EWS quota but have secured the seat through general or any other quota can also apply for NBFA. Any participant who have applied through SC, ST, OBC or physically handicapped quota and fall within the above eligibility criteria can also apply for the NBFA.

Q:   What are the registration dates for IPMAT?

Documents Required for IPMAT Registration

The following list of documents will be required for IPMAT registrations:

  • Scanned or digital copy photograph and signature
  • Scanned copy of the latest OBC (Non-creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable
  • Scanned copy of mark sheets of Class 10 and Class 12
  • Credit/ Debit card/ internet banking details to pay the fees online

Q:   If any student gets 2% less than 60% in Class 10 or Class 12, will he be able to take IPMAT?

A:

The minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the IPMAT exam is a score of at least 60% aggregate in both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent for the General and NC-OBC categories. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) categories. 

Also, the candidate should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2024. The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023 or in 2024 if rhey are appearing for IPMAT 2024.

Q:   How to login to the website for IPMAT registration?

A:

The IPMAT application/registration forms will be available online only on the official website of Indian Institute of Management, Indore. The students who wish to appear for the IPMAT exam, have to fill out the IPMAT application form online along with paying the online application fee. In other words, IPMAT application process is completely online and there is no provision of offline application. Candidates who wish to appear for the IPMAT exam must follow the steps mentioned below to know how to register for the IPMAT exam and log in to the IIM Indore website:

Q:   How many test cities can I choose while filling the IPMAT application form?

A:

Students applying for the IPMAT exam can choose only test centre. And the IPMAT test city cannot be changed once the form has been submitted and also during the form correction window. The details of the IPMAT  test centre will be mentioned on the IPMAT admit card along with the date and time of the exam and the students will also be informed via SMS or email. Q:   Can I pay the IPMAT registration fee by cash/DD or net banking?

A:

IPMAT registration fee can be paid only online. There is no provision of paying the application fee offline. Candidates need to pay the application fee online in order to complete the IPMAT application form. The candidates applying for the IPMAT exam must note that the IPMAT application process is completely online from filling the IPMAT application form till paying the application fee. There is no offline communication. The application fee for IPMAT is INR 4130. The application fee for IPMAT can only be paid online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking or UPI. Students belonging to the reserved category are eligible to avail a fee concession. The IPMAT application fee for reserved category students is INR 2065.

Q:   I am unable to upload my signatures in the IPMAT registration form. What should I do?

A:

There is a set limit to upload a photograph and digital signatures in the IPMAT registration form. The size of the file should be between the prescribed size. Also, the dimensions of the image uploaded should match the ones mentioned in the instructions. If the documents are not in the prescribed format then the application form can be rejected. Candidates must note that there is a very small form correction window in the IPMAT application process, hence they must carefully fill the application form and upload clear scanned copies of the documents.

Choosing the IPMAT Test Centre

  • During the IPMAT application form filling, candidates can choose one IPMAT test centre.
  • The test cities cannot be changed once the IPMAT application form has been submitted.
  • The details of the IPMAT  test centre will be mentioned on the IPMAT admit card along with the date and time of the exam and the students will also be informed via SMS or email. 
  • Candidates must note that they will have to visit the same test centre that has been allotted to them. They cannot change the centre on the exam day too. No change requests will be entertained.

Q:   If it is not allowed to bring any page for rough notes, then how will the formula-based questions be solved in IPMAT?

A:
In IPMAT candidates are provided with a rough sheet or a scribble pad for rough work and calculations. This is done to enable candidates to solve formula-based questions and other numerical problems. Candidates are not allowed to carry any page or sheet of paper with them into the examination hall. However, they can use the rough sheet or scribble pad provided to them during the exam to jot down the formulas, solve numerical problems and make rough calculations. It is important to note that the rough sheet or scribble pad is meant for rough work and calculations only, and candidates are not allowed to carry it out of the examination hall. Candidates should use the rough sheet or scribble pad judiciously and avoid wasting time on unnecessary rough work. No, it is not allowed to take a notebook to solve questions in IPMAT (Integrated programme in Management Aptitude Test). IPMAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for admission to its five-year integrated management programme. The exam is conducted in online mode and is designed to test the candidate's aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability. Candidates are provided with a virtual calculator on the computer screen to solve the questions during the exam.
