Yes, you can fill the SET application form on one day and pay the fee on another day as it is not mandatory to register for SET exam and fill the application form or pay the fee in one go. The registration and application window will remain open for the candidate who has registered for the exam and created and ID, until the last date of form submission. The applicant can login in and check/fill/edit the SET application form anytime during the form filling period. Only the phone number and email ID will not be editable once registration is done. However, candidates need to submit the SET form and application fee before the deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam. The SET application form will not be submitted until the fee payment is done. The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI wallet.

Candidates must also note that the candiates need to pay the application fee first and only then they will be allowed to fill the second part of the application form where they need to choose their test cities, add communication address and choose the institute and pay the fee for the institute. The SET application form will only be considered complete once the Part I and II of the form have been completed.

  • Click on the 'New User Registration' button and read the Terms and Conditions given on the page

  • You will be redirected to Part I of the SET application process, wherein you will be required to fill in details such as the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, gender, etc. 
  • Fill out the SET application form with the required details, choose the preferred SET test date, city and upload the photograph
  • Check the details filled and click on 'Save and Continue' to submit it
  • Enter the six-digit one-time password (OTP) received on the registered mobile number

  • Verify the OTP received on the registered email ID
  • Pay the SET application fee and proceed to the Part II of the SET registration process
  • Now, fill in the details such as communication address, nationality, and details of parents/guardians, and select the preferred SET colleges

If any candidate plans to appear for only one session of the SET exam, he/she will have to submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 2250/- and if they plan to appear for both sessions then they will have to submit a DD of INR 4500/-. The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of the Demand Draft and will send an email confirming the payment. Candidates can access their SET admit card 2025 only if they have received the application fee payment confirmation.

SET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Choosing the SET Exam Centres

Given below are a few instructions to keep in mind when choosing the SET exam centre:

  • During the SET application form filling, candidates can choose up to three test cities for the SET exam centre allotment.
  • The test cities cannot be changed once the SET application form has been submitted.
  • The details of the SET test centre will be mentioned on the SET admit card along with the date and time of the exam
  • Candidates must note that they will have to visit the same test centre that has been allotted to them. They cannot change the centre on the exam day too. No change requests will be entertained.

After the SET result is declared, the aspirants will be required to book their seats for PI-WAT by paying INR 1000 as a SET PI-WAT fee. The final merit list will be announced post the PI-WAT process is over. Final admission will be offered based on the candidate’s combined score in the SET exam and PI-WAT. To apply for SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test), you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official website of SET

  2. Look for the registration link on the website homepage and click on it. Fill in the required details such as your name, email address, mobile number, and create a password to register for the exam. After successful registration, you will receive a unique application number and login credentials.

  3. Log in to your account using the provided login credentials. 

  4. Upload the scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph as per the specified format and dimensions as mentioned in the instructions. Ensure the images are clear and meet the specified requirements.

  5. Check the details enter and then click on the 'Ok' button. Candidates will receive an one time password (OTP) on their registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the 'Submit' button. 
  6. Proceed to pay the application fee using the available payment options. The application fee for SET can be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking as well as through a demand draft.

  7. After the successfull fee payment, complete the SET application form by providing personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information. Ensure that you enter accurate and correct information in the form.

  8. Select the institutes that you wish to apply in, and click on the 'Save and Continue' button. 

  9. Once, the complete application form has been filled, proceed on to paying the institute fee for the institutes which you have opted for during the application process. 

  10. Finally submit the SET application form. Take a printout of the application form or save a copy for future reference.
