Very good placements and infrastructure. You guys can go for it.
Placements: Acropolis have almost 85% placements. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The highest salary package offered to date is 42 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, etc. We can go to this college. We have good staff and faculty members. They offer good placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not good on campus. You have to pay extra for Wi-Fi. You get free internet of 34 MB. After that, you have to pay for it. Classrooms are also good with good ventilation and lighting. All classrooms have projectors and good benches.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and well-qualified. They serve a very good quality of education. Almost all teachers are doctors. Semester exams are moderate. They help us if we get stuck in any issue. The overall department is helpful.

Decent placements and supportive faculty, but needs better facilities.
Placements: There are decent placements. Our college should improve industry tie-ups. I am currently studying computer science and information technology at this college. Placements are just satisfactory. They are not up to the mark compared to other colleges. Around 60-65% of students got placed last year with an average salary package of 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department has basic infrastructure with Wi-Fi, decent labs, and classrooms. Some facilities are outdated. The library is good but crowded during exams. The hostel is average. The food quality is the worst. Sports facilities are just limited. The ground is very short and becomes conjested.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable. Some focus should be more on theory than practical skills. The curriculum is fair, updated, and relevant. It prepared students moderately well for the industry. Exams are manageable with effort. The pass percentage is around 85-90%. We have the best and most supportive faculty members.
Other: I chose this college for career support. We have fests.

Great for you if you want to be placed, but if you want a better campus life, this is not the one.
Placements: In the last few years, due to the recession, rarely companies visited our college for recruitment. This year's scenario has been completely different. Mass companies visited our college and offered exceptionally high packages. The highest salary package offered is around 28 LPA. Around 2 students got placed in the AIML CSE batch.
Infrastructure: There is no such thing. Wi-Fi connection is is not provided by the college. In the first year, we even struggled for the basic mobile network so that should be kept in mind. There is no hostel or mess. Our canteen is average. Medical facilities are average. Sports and games are where our college shines every year. It is because of students' talent and hard work.
Faculty: Teachers are of great quality. They are relentlessly working in the direction of students' placements. The course curriculum might not be that relevant but it's not quite hectic too so wouldn't complain about it. Semester exams are not very difficult even if you study religiously during the break given in between exams. Students can easily pass all exams.
Other: Our course is AIML CSE. The better crowd would have been helpful. All fests are below average. Our college focuses more on academics.

I suggest students join this college. The college is average, and you feel like being in school.
Placements: The IT department has a strong placement record. The competition is there but the college invites companies for campus placements. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, and HCL visit the college for placements. Roles like software development and data analytics are offered here. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: If students want fancy infrastructure then do not join this college as it has a decent infrastructure. It has all facilities required for our course like labs and a library. It does not have good Wi-Fi. Food quality is also good in the canteen. It also has sports facilities like indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful somewhat it feels like being in school. I liked the teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough, and students can qualify by being just regular for classes. They also train you for your good communication skills, which is important for students to stay in the industry. The scholarship faculty members are rude or else my experience with other faculty members is good.
Other: I chose this college because it has rules and regulations that are also followed unlike other colleges being alone in this city like Indore far from parents. I needed some strictness from college to make me focused on what I was here for. It is fine if students do not want to take that pressure I want.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2028

3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
AITR is pretty nice, and a lot of people suggested this college for a B.Tech course.
Placements: AITR in Indore has demonstrated a consistent placement record over recent years. In the year 2022-23 academic year, the institute achieved an 85% placement rate, with approximately 400 students securing positions. The average salary package offered in this period is 4 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Prominent companies like Cognizant, Persistent, TCS, and Wipro visit the college for placements. Overall, AITR Indore provides robust placement support, connects students with reputable companies, and offers competitive salary packages. AITR established the cyber security cell in partnership with EC-council, a leading organisation in cyber security and ethical hacking. This collaboration provides students with access to intensive training programs, workshops, roundtable conferences, cyber competitions, and hackathons. The cell aims to equip student with practical skills and industry-recognised certification enhancing their readiness for a career in cyber security.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They give them good knowledge to know things better. They try to convey things to students as much as they can. AITR is affiliated with RGPV University in Bhopal, so the overall course curriculum is nice. Exams conducted by RGPV are moderate not as hard as no one can pass them. The pass percentage is 80-85%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in ethical hacking. The best thing about this course is it is one of the growing and essential fields in future as the cybercrime is increasing day by day. Fests and events are conducted often. There is one fest named Hard, and it happens once a year for 10 to 15 days.

Placements are average. The average package is good, but the number of students placed is less.
Placements: Placements are average. Not a lot of students are placed, though the ones placed have a good salary package. A lot of internal examinations from the college side have to be given to be eligible to sit in the placement drive. Most of the students are not able to clear them and hence become ineligible.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and the facilities are old school and traditional. The library is not that big and has more academic books only. The classes only have fans, no AC or cooler, and they are extremely hot during the summers. The college campus too is not that big. No Wi-Fi is available on the campus, and even the mobile data doesn't work here.
Faculty: The faculty mostly are helpful and friendly. The way of teaching is good. They are nice to the students. Though the curriculum followed is RGPV, I do feel the curriculum is outdated and is not very helpful in today's time. Practical knowledge given to students is not very much.

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Pros:
+ Good infrastructure, including clean classrooms, labs, and a library with a wide range of books.
+ Well-educated and helpful teachers.
+ Average package of INR4-5 lakhs, with the highest package reaching up to INR18 lakhs.
+ Placement rates are generally satisfactory, with around 60-70% of students getting placed.
+ Various campus events and festivals, including the annual ARDOR festival.
* Cons:
+ Limited hostel facilities, forcing students to find alternative accommodation.
+ Internet connectivity issues and jamming devices restricting students' online activity.
+ Curriculum may be considered outdated, focusing more on theoretical aspects rather than practical skills.
+ Strict rules and regulations, giving students limited freedom.
* Additional notes:
+ Scholarship options are available for meritorious students.
