College life was remarkable.
Placements: Placements for our batch were not that great. IT companies are the major stakeholders for placements. Neither product based nor core based companies offered placements during our batch. During the course end, there were few job fairs conducted for different streams. The placement cell was not that great during our time and was only promoting IT companies to conduct recruitments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college seems to be okay. Even though it could not be compared to other competitor colleges, Adishankara succeeded to provide basic amenities and necessary infrastructure for students as well as faculty members. Wi-Fi connectivity was poor or else no connectivity. The library had a great collection of books on various topics and authors as well. Labs are well maintained and available for usage when required.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are well qualified and helpful too. Mostly classroom-based teaching is preferred. Practical labs are also incorporated in the curriculum. The student to faculty ratio is approximately 60:1. Specially mentioning our department holds a great set of faculty who completely supports their students in all aspects.
Other: We had a techno-cultural fest named Brahma which is an intercollegiate event. Students across the state participate in various events. In addition to that, a football tournament was also hosted in our college during our course span. Scholarships are not that impressive, yet there are chances for bright students.

Satisfied with the faculty members, but totally disappointed with placements.
Placements: There were almost 6 placements in our college, and it was the same for our senior batch too. The total percentage of students getting placed from our batch would be around 35%, out of which most were placed in TCS. The highest salary package was offered by TCS, around 3.3 LPA, the lowest package was offered by Sutherland, around 1.5 LPA, and the average package would be around 2.5 LPA. Companies visited our college include TCS, Sutherland, Concentrix, Attinad Software (Software Kerala Based) etc. The roles offered to students were software engineer, client support, technical engineer etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was available throughout the campus. Classrooms were smart classes. They are well maintained, cleaned and have separate tables and chairs for every individual student. The college allows only vegetarian food, and all the food items in the canteen were fresh and neat. The college has separate hostels for seniors and juniors (both girls and boys).
Faculty: The department of mechanical engineering was one o the best branches in our college, and so are the faculty members. All the teachers were well qualified and helpful. They always pushed us hard to succeed. Quality of teaching was exceptionally standard, and the methods adopted were presentations, walk over in sites and blackboard teaching.

Average placement in 2016, dedicated faculty members with decent infrastructure.
Placements: The placement scenario of our college was average during our time. IT companies were the predominant recruiters while core companies were very less during my time. Only a handful of students from Mechanical batch was placed during this period. The college also never provided any internship at that time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the college was on par with its competition. College housed well-equipped labs and workshops, a excellent library, vegetarian canteen as well as small snack shops. The classrooms were digital and well furnished. However the sports facility offered by the institute was very low.
Faculty: Our department comprised of highly qualified teachers, with many having Ph.D. Some of them were very young and never had any industrial experience. However HOD of our time was a very experienced personality with a well knowledge about the industry. Everyone was cooperative and devoted their time for our needs.
Other: Though the campus is small compared to many of its competitors, it have lot of greenery and hence offer a cool atmosphere. The cleanliness in the campus is very impressive with a dedicated cleaning team working around the clock to maintain the standard. The campus follows the teaching of adi shankara and hence serves only vegetarian food. The campus also have many activities including the sports day, arts fest as well as its Techno cultural fest called BRAHMA.

Satisfied by the faculty of mechanical. Best college for mechanical.
Placements: About 40% (150) students were placed from our batch. The highest salary offered was 3.2 lakhs per annum and the lowest was about Rs. 60 thousand. The main recruiters were TCS, UST Global etc. There was no placement offers from the mechanical industry.
Infrastructure: The campus is about 4 acres and is Wi-Fi enabled. There were about 10 computer labs and a huge library. These all rooms were air-conditioned. The food was hygienic but the quality was not up to the mark. The hostel was cleaned daily and the quality was also good.
Faculty: The HOD of mechanical department was very friendly and very helpful at the time of project works. The faculty of mechanical department is well-qualified and educated. The students to faculty ratio is about 20:1. The college offered internship programs and industrial visit were organized.

Best faculty, more placements in IT companies, good infrastructure.
Placements: All major IT companies like Wipro, TCS, UST Global etc conducted placements. Almost 70% of the students got placed. Apart from the IT giants, a few electrical core companies had also visited for placement. The average salary offered by the companies were around 2.4 lakh to 4.2 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: Good classroom atmosphere with projector facility. Library facility available with a good collection of books prescribed in the syllabus. E-books also can be availed from the digital library. The infrastructure and atmosphere in the campus is good and peaceful.
Faculty: The faculty members for mechanical engineering are post graduates and PhD holders from the best universities in India like the IITs and NITs. They have the ample experience in teaching and are always helpful in nature. Any clarifications or doubts, they are available at all times. Industry visits during the course gave us good exposure to the industry.
