The college is bad among the worst - AKGEC.

Placements: The placements happen only for 10-30 students per year from a total B.Tech batch of 500-600. Only a few companies come for the placements and that too for CS and IT students. The highest package offered was 5.6 LPA while the lowest goes around 1.4 LPA-1.6 LPA. Since the placements are in such bad conditions, you can't expect to have internship from the college. One has to himself look for internships.

Don't take admission in any engineering college of AKTU.

Placements: The placement in this college is nil. No good company visits this college. No company visited this college last year. Taking admission in the college to get placements is a foolish thing. You may take admission only to get the BTech degree but not for placements. No student of mechanical got placed in any company through the college campus. They depend on the GATE score to get a job in PSUs.

Don' t waste money by taking admission in any private college of AKTU.

Placements: There is no placement in the college and no company visited this campus last year, so don't take admission for placement in this. It was a waste of money taking admission in this college. I advise the fresher students that before taking admission in BTech, think about other courses and think about their aim.

I suggest that keep this college as the last option if you are thinking to do B.Tech from AKTU.

Placements: Placements are mostly available for CS and IT department students. Other than sales profile jobs are offered to students. The salary package offered range from 2 to 4 LPA, and companies such as Infosys, etc., visit the campus for placements. They offer sales, BPO and technical jobs for students. Placements for the mechanical and civil branch are very poor, but the college doesn't address this problem. Students have to find Internship on themselves as the college doesn't help at all.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college faculty, policies, and placement cell.

Placements: The placement is not at all good, especially for core branches like EN and ME. CS & IT placements are also not up to the required level. The companies are mostly software & IT related. The average salary is around 2.5L with a minimum salary of 1.6L and the maximum is around 4L. Even the core branch departments don't try much to call any good company. The college also denies permission to any student who does not complete the attendance criterion. Attendance is everything in this college. You wil...

College with good reviews but with bad placements and poor college life.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. Mediocre for CS/IT (3 LPA), less than average for EC, EI and almost zero for ME and CE. Only one mass recruiter that is Infosys, and it has not incremented its starting package for the last 6 years or so. Placement activities are good and the administration try to guide students before the placement season on the interview process. I got benefit from this program.

Poor learning approach and negative mindset of faculty

Placements: The placement scenario is the same as that of the other tier 3 colleges in India. At AKGEC, about 50-60% students get placed every year and yes this percentage may vary depending on the IT sector needs because the major recruiters at AKGEC are Infosys, Wipro, TCS and other tech startups located in Delhi-NCR. The average salary offered here is around 3-4 LPA and the highest salary offered is 56 LPA (by a student placed in Google). AKGEC does not help in internships so you have to find the interns...

The infrastructure of the college is the best thing and beyond doubt it is par excellence. Apart from this, the things that matters are not good. Placement is almost nil specially for core branches. Most of the mechanical students are placed in Infosys and do not get placed in core companies. Same can be said for other branches except CS and IT. Most of the students here prepare for GATE. Crowd is average.

For mechanical branch don’t expect any placement or even any support from college. Be sure about your purpose for coming to this college. Such a stupid and strict administration. CS and IT branch are still better to think of when it comes to placement.

Not satisfied with anything in this College.

Placements: I think most of the students get placed but the package is not very good. Yes there are exceptions everywhere. The highest as far as I know is about 11-12 lacs and the lowest may be around 3 lacs. As most of the students study related to IT industry, hence more are placed in tech companies.

If summary is given on the basis of behavior of administration staff the college is not good.

Placements: Campus placement are the worst for core branches, only infosys provided mass recruitment, other companies didn't recruited even 10 students per branch. The Internship which is provided by college is charged much. The fee of the internship is too much high. It's 7000 only for 7 days.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: There are very bad placements, and our college invites mass recruiting companies to recruit students on a paid basis, i.e., they are paid to recruit students, and they remove after one or two years. All students are local, so there will be a lot of physical activities, including fighting, etc. Faculty members don't care everything much. Our college doesn't provide any opportunities for internships, and it only focuses on attendance.

Already UPTU is not good, and this college makes it worse.

Placements: Placements in our college are not very good, and at last, students will opt for government jobs as they are not going to be placed. The placement scenario is somewhat good for CSE and IT department students, but also don't expect above 3.5 or 4 LPA salary package. This college just focuses very much on percentage and attendance so that students will get only theoretical knowledge in this 4 years but don't develop their and exposure which is the foremost essential in today's industrial era.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: The college is good for placements of CS and IT students. However, the college doesn't allow students to attend placements for companies with less salary package. Students who don't deserve placements get placed with a higher salary package instead of deserving students. The college is not good.

It is the worst college of APKAKTU.

Placements: There are no placements for our batch and our senior batch. Therefore no the highest or the lowest package. None of the students got an internship from the college. Everyone got an internship on their own. The placement cell is not good. If you ask them for any help, they will charge money for it.
