Partially satisfied as there are no hostel and mess facilities, and average quality education.

Placements: Placements were above average this year. Around 40-60% of the batch got placed in various sectors including IT, manufacturing and also in start-ups. Some of the companies who visited the campus were Nucleus Software, L&T Infotech, NIIT Technologies, Micromatic and Accenture. The average package offered was close to 4 LPA, and the college has a placement cell which is responsible for all placement related activities.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in the college were quite mediocre. Almost 90% of the students in CS and IT branches get placed each year. But the majority of students are placed in MNCs with a salary package around 3 LPA. Only a few students are able to grab a salary package around 4 LPA. I am not really sure about the other streams. But as my per knowledge, it's difficult for the students from other streams to get a job and those who get mostly land up in IT companies.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: The placements at AKGEC were good only for some selected branches like CS and IT. Infosys was the only company which was open for all. Lohia was one of the big companies that visited for Mechanical. The college did not provide internships and students had to find internships on their own.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College- 2 Years after passing out.

Placements: Placements of the company are moderate. Most of the placements are in CS and IT companies. The average package is around 3-4 Lacs per annum but the students go outside and avail better placements. Some branched like mech. and civil seriously lack placements.

Dissatisfied with this college even though this was the best private college under UPAT earlier.

Placements: The institute offers the engineering course in many domains, but they offer placement opportunities only in the CS/IT domains, which is a major drawback here. Infosys is our only mass recruiter, and it hires students in great numbers. Only a few reputed companies visit the campus for placements. The average salary package offered was only 3 LPA, which is unacceptable.

Least recommended for a person seeking placements.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, there were not a single offer in the mechanical and civil branch. The students who got placed through the campus were offered information technology related coding roles. No internships are offered in the campus. One has to look for it by themselves as at least one internship is compulsory in the last year.

A good college if you wish to score marks but not much good for studies.

Placements: I got placed in 4 companies including Infosys, IBM, Sopra and Newgen Software Technologies. Although the number of companies that visited the college was high, the average package was less than 2.8 LPA. There was a placement cell, but companies were called by college staff only. Internships were not provided by the college.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: The placements in the college were better than most of the colleges of the university. There was a placement cell which consisted of students as well as faculty members. Placements were generally good for the Computer Science branch. IT and EC were also good placements wise. We cannot say that 100% placements were guaranteed but most of the students got placed.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in the college for mechanical branch were poor. However, a sufficient number of companies visited the campus to hire the students of the CS and IT departments, but only a few companies visited the campus to hire the students of the mechanical engineering department. Overall, the average salary package offered was around 2.5 LPA. The college claims of 100% placements, which does not hold true.

Placements: AKGEC is one of the top colleges of the university when it comes to placements. Companies like Infosys, Newgen, etc., are the prominent recruiters here. Almost 100% placements are achieved in all the other branches except for mechanical and civil branches. The average salary package offered is a bit low, and it is around 3 LPA.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in AKGEC are good only for the branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, and for other branches, especially civil and mechanical, placements are bad. The students mainly opt for higher studies. The average package ranges between 2.5-3 lacs per year. Placements in our college when compared to its competitor KIET, are below par.

Placements: Placement opportunities provided are not good enough for the core branches, but placements are good for computer science and information technology branches. But the average salary package does not exceed more than 5 LPA, which is not worth the fee charged as they charge a fee of more than this average salary package.

Placements: I joined the college because I had heard the placements were better than other colleges of same tier. However, on joining the college, I realised placements were just average. There is a placement cell which has faculty as well as students. Placements were still there for branches like CS IT and EC. Rest of the branches, mainly Mechanical suffered.

Placements: The placements have been below par in AKGEC. Infosys was supposed to be our dream company. Newgen is another prominent name for the students of CSE and IT. It is claimed that 100% placements are achieved. However several students opt out due to higher studies or other competitive exams.

Good infrastructure & facilities with discipline, average Placements.

Placements: Placements were just below average, mostly were the BPOs who took mass recruitment. Package was also average as per the industry norms. About 70% of the students got placed. There is no support in Internship from the college side, all they are concerned about is good scores of the students.

Placements: Placements in our college are average as mostly IT companies visit the campus for recruitment. The placement rate is more than 95% for branches like computer science and information technology branches. But the placements are the worst for all other branches. If you don't have a better option then only go for this college.

Placements: Placements are provided mostly for CS and IT candidates. The average salary package offered for them is around 3.5-4.5 LPA, which is quite low. Most of the hiring companies are mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. The maximum salary package offered from the college campus is around 10-12 LPA. Although some of our brilliant seniors prove their potential and got a job with a good salary package of 7 LPA, so, if you are a CS or IT student, then you may consider it. If you are an e...

The college has good infrastructure, better academics and placements among its UPTU peers.

Placements: Infosys is the mass recruiter of our campus. The college doesn't provide 100% placements but manages to provide decent jobs to students. ROI of the college is very poor. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Students generally prefer preparing for exams like CAT, GATE, etc., than opting for on-campus placements.
