My experience at this college was average. However, hostel life will be etched in my heart forever.

Placements: Placements were not that good for our seniors as well as our batch. Only 70% of the students were placed from CS, and IT branches. Placements were worst for other branches as only 25% of students from other departments were placed. The highest salary package offered was 6.4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 3.06 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini visited the campus. Most of the people got placements outside the camp...

The college has good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Placement opportunities are poor for the students of mechanical engineering and civil engineering. There is an average placement ratio for other branches like computer science and information technology. You can choose off-campus placements to get a good job. Many students choose to prepare for GATE, and some students prefer competitive exams.

The college is not very good, but you can join the college for its infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in the college were very good two years ago, but currently, the placements are very poor. Placements are good for CS and IT students. Companies do visit our college for recruiting students, but higher packages are offered in off-campus placements. So, it's better to go for off-campus placements.

The college is not much good, but you can join it if you prefer infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good for the last 2 years. But since then, the placements aren't that good. Companies visit for CS and IT students. Students can also get placed through off-campus placements. One needs to study hard to get placed.

It is a good college with good faculty members. But placements are not good for other branches.

Placements: Placements in the college are good for computer science and engineering branch students. But for other branches placements are very low. Mechanical engineering branch has very less placement ratio. The average salary package offered by the companies is 4-5 LPA.

AKGEC disappoints its students.

Placements: Placements are good for CS, IT and maybe for EC branch as well. However, the placements for core branches like civil, ME and EE are very bad. Infosys is the mass recruiter, and the package offered is 3.5 LPA. So, it's not an easy task to get placed on campus.

AKGEC is the bestest college.

Placements: In iur college, many companies come for placement and different type of varieties of company also came I. e. navy, technical, mechanical but not enough for all students even the packages in no enough and I think if we spend so much money on education, we never want the small packages.

Overall, the college is average in all aspects.

Placements: If you are looking for a placement in TCS and Infosys, then this is the place for you. The average salary package offered is 3.50 LPA. Students can't expect anything great regarding campus placements in any of the colleges. The best thing is to get as many internships as possible and try off-campus placements.

I am not totally dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Approximately 60-70% of students are placed last year in Electronics and communication department. There is a training and placement department in the college which deal with all these kind of matters. Students are mostly placed for a software engineer job.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are good, but for the ECE department, it is not up to the mark. Companies are visiting only for CS and IT departments but not for core ECE departments. The annual salary package offered by the company is 3.5 LPA. Most of the companies are offering for operator job but not for an engineering post.

Review of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.

Placements: Presently it is one of the good colleges among AKTU (UPTU). Every year companies like Infosys, HCL, Bosch, Newgen, etc., visit our college to recruit from CSE and IT branch but any branch student meeting the company's criteria are allowed to participate. Core companies for mechanical and civil departments are very less.

An average college with decent facilities.

Placements: Our college has an average placement record. Last year, around 65-70% students got offers, including some off-campus offers. As usual, CS/IT students got the maximum number of offers. EC and EN got an average number of offers, and there were almost no offers for mechanical and civil students. The highest salary package offered was around 14 LPA in the campus. Some of the prominent recruiters were Infosys, Wipro, Lohia Group, HSBC, Ace Micromatic, Lava, etc. College is not very serious about the ...

Placements wise, the college is not good, curriculum activities are nil.

Placements: There are zero placements in the civil branch and also mechanical, but placements in CS and IT are good. Placements in EC and EN are not so good, but they are better than the civil and mechanical. Placements in other branches are better than in CE and ME.

The college pays attention only to the academics and not to the other activities.

Placements: The placements are good for the CS and IT departments when compared to the other colleges. Almost 100% students get jobs. The mechanical branch has no placement as only 2 or 3 core companies visit the college. A few students of mechanical and civil get placement through the college campus. The highest salary package offered for the CS and IT students ranges from 7 LPA to 8 LPA, and the average salary offered is 3.5 LPA. The placement cell is highly active compared to other colleges, and above 70...

Dissatisfied with this college as the placements and events organised are poor.

Placements: The first thing which an aspirant looks to any college is its placement. Here, the placements are not up to the mark. The average salary package was around 3-4 LPA, which is only for CS and IT branches. If you are from branches other than CS and IT, then you have to sacrifice as there is no core company for other branches. If you are a hard worker, then you can get good salary packages from off-campus placements.

An average college with average placements and average faculty. Above average infrastructure.

Placements: If you are in CS/IT, then there is a chance that you would get placed with an average package of 3 LPA. If you are good at your skills, then you can go up to 5 LPA. There are nearly 80% of students in CS/IT branch who got placed but if you are in a branch other than CS/IT, then there are very few chances for you to get placed.

We have no college life because our college is too busy in improving its rank.

Placements: Our college has average placements and depends on student to student. The placement is never a parameter to judge a college. If you're average or above average, you'll get placed and will grab a decent package (3 LPA to 4 LPA in UPTU). Overall, the placements of the college are average.

Dissatisfied with placements and the efforts of college in overall development of every student.

Placements: The college has Placement in mechanical and civil are zero. In computer Science placement is average in my presence and companies like DLD labs, SANS Force ltd, Indian navy has recruited students. The college has many labs, but it's not free for students of our college also, so if I have to pay for it, then surely I would prefer investing somewhere else.

BHEL, Genpact, Samsung, and many other companies visited the college campus and do bulk placements sometimes.
