The faculty and placements are not satisfactory, but infrastructure is awesome.

Placements: The placements are decent for my senior batch. As for as our batch is concerned, there was less placement taken place so far. I think in our branch 60% of the students got placed. The highest package was 4.5 LPA, and the average is approximately 2.9 LPA. Very few got the internship from college. The placement cell is there, but there is no use at all.

AKGEC is only good for non-core branches, and don't come here if you are civil and mechanical.

Placements: There are no placements in core mechanical companies. You have good infrastructure and laboratories for mechanical. But for placements, either you go for the government jobs or CAT, or you have to sit idle after investing four years here. So, if you have a target of a government job then take any college in the vicinity of good coaching institutes or your home according to convenience.

Everything depends on you.

Placements: If I you have some skills then you will surely get the placement, but you must have good communication skills. I know all the students don't have strong communication then I will say that ' ho to sabka hi jaata hai year tension na le'. But branches like civil and Mechanical has no opportunity for placements, and they must have to prepare for GATE or any other exam.

The college is good but we suffers as it a part of AKTU.

Placements: If you are looking for on-campus placements, then you will be disappointed. On an average student get offered 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. Sony Ericsson, Infosys do come and are the main recruiters. Over the years there has been a drop in job offers from them. They ask you aptitude, coding and then interview. Nothing much related to our branch. So basically you go for a CS/IT job. There's no specific company from electronics that comes and gives a handy package. NI (National Instruments) did come they and t...

Nice infrastructure, and well-built hostels.

Placements: The placement scenario is not that good, only the IT companies come for recruitment also some navy recruitment take place, but chances are low. The highest package goes about 9-10 LPA, but the average package is only 3 LPA. The companies like TCS, HCL, and Infosys come periodically.

Satisfied with the placements, faculty, infrastructure, and facilities on the campus.

Placements: For the senior batch, it was more to the average students on the least. But as now, it has been to the point of your issues to attend them. Apart many just quit striving hard for at least government services. The college should have fixed a standard for its students to perform to a level and not just letting them knock every door of aid.

This is the best college of UPTU.

Placements: The placements are not the speciality of the college. Only 2 or 3 good companies come and take like 6 to 7 persons that's it. The scenario is satisfactory but not good for the other branches like mechanical, civil or electrical. If you want to get a good job, you should not rely on the campus placements.

Good infrastructure, but extreme discipline.

Placements: The placements offered were average in my senior batch, i.e. in the 2017 batch. Around, 80% of the students were placed from the college. The majority of which were from the CS and IT branch. The placements of other branches are below average, and not much core companies come for the placement. The highest package offered was of around 6 lacs per annum which were offered by Bosch and NewGen for the computer science students. The average salary offered was of around 3-3.5 lacs per annum. We can say AKG is average in everything.

Placements: The placements are average in other words we can say that the placements are available only for CS EC and for IT department students and for few talented civil and mechanical students. Some counted companies comes here for placement like Infosys, Chetak, Bose etc. So finally, in short, we can say that the college has average placements.

The college is good if you want a job in IT sector.

Placements: The placements offered in the college is mainly limited to IT companies and BPO's. The Infosys is one of the biggest recruiter offering a package of 3.25 LPA. In electronics branch, Bosch selected a bunch of students. Not a very good scenario when it comes to the placements. No fortune 100 companies visit the college.

Dissatisfied with course structure and methods of teaching .Nothing much to say about placements.

Placements: The placements are basically for CSE and IT departments. Infosys is the mass recruiter. There are no many expectations for any other branches. The average package is around 3 Lacs per annum. Off-campus, few guys get placements around 10 lacs per annum, almost every year.

The college looks grand from the outside, and not good inside.

Placements: The placements are none for all the civil students. No company related to the civil visit the college for the placements. At most, you will land a job in an IT firm like TCS. Mostly, the civil students here prepare for the exams like GATE, IES, etc. I am currently in the 2nd year, and our senior batch has low, or nil placements, and also the package offered is low, which was around 3 lacs per annum. The internships and the training are not good, and I got a bad internship experience.

A decent college with excellent infrastructure, good placements but low in college life.

Placements: Placements of our college are average. About 60 to 70 companies visit our college for placements with decent packages. Almost every student get placed from computer science and information technology department, but for other branches, placements are low. Very few companies visit for core branches.

It is one of the best colleges in AKTU.

Placements: As I am a first-year student, I have zero knowledge about the placement in the civil branch, but the faculty is very laborious and teach the students to their full potential. I only know so far, but hope there are good placements for the CS and the IT branches. Come here and have fun along with the studies.

The placements aren't good in this college.

Placements: The on-campus placements aren't great. The aggregate base for us is less than Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 4 lakhs. Infosys was the mass recruiter, but it seems like even they have lost the interest in this college, and this year, only 40 students were recruited in it. Almost 2/3rd students in the computer science and the IT branches get placed. The highest package offered is around Rs. 10 lakhs and the lowest offered is about Rs. 2.5 lakhs to Rs. 2 lakhs.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College is a nice college and one can get a good education here.

Placements: The average package was around 4 lacs per annum. The college gives you lots of opportunities in Kuka robotics and Tifac core. If a student is eager to do something in life, they can make use of the college to its ability. The placements of our senior were average. 90% of the students got placed. The highest package 6.5 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. The companies like Infosys, etc., visited the campus.

Overall, college is satisfactory and student has a great chance to achieve goals if they work hard

Placements: The placement is good. The average placement is of 2.5 lakhs and the lowest is of 2.3 lakhs. But the placement cell is weak and the college admin has a low focus on skill development. There are some exceptional placements but they are off-campus due to individual capacity and talent.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty, average placements in 2016 but infrastructure is good.

Placements: The placements in the college are average. Most of the time software companies keep on visiting the campus. Rarely some core electronics companies visit the campus. Among the core, Samsung came, but that too asked for the programming language. Mainly if you are in CS or IT branch, I think you will surely get placed. The highest package which was 7 lakhs per annum. But on an average, you can expect 3 lakhs per annum. Infosys come to campus every year for mass recruitment and takes 200-300 student...

Academics is not good and college life is boring

Placements: The placements are not as good as promised at the time of admission, they are average. Students get a package of 2.5-3.5 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements from campus is decreasing every year. Although the case with computer science students is better. A good number of students get placed at almost 80%. TCS, Infosys and Wipro are the mass recruiters. But the students of other branches find it difficult to get a job.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of course curriculum.

Placements: Nil. There is no placement in any department. No campus placement in this college. The only way to get placed after completion of B.Tech from any branch is to qualify the entrance exams like GATE, etc. and get an all India rank below 500. Then, there will be a chance to get good placement in private sectors.
